Keep Belmont Beautiful Incorporated in 2001, Keep Belmont Beautiful, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization. http://www.facebook.com/home.php #!/cityofbelmont

We are an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and partner with the City and citizens of Belmont, NC. Keep Belmont Beautiful determined that a long-range solution to litter reduction and recycling is educating the City's youth, citizens and community leaders. We are a volunteer organization working to promote public interest in litter reduction, recycling, beautification and conservation of natural resources.

Each Spring KBB offers local Belmont schools $400 grants to help beautify their grounds. Page Primary Elementary used their money to buy & plant flowers, shrubs, put out new mulch, purchase planters & super cute festive metal decoratives, etc. The students enjoyed helping with the planting. What a wonderful job! Way to go, your beautification efforts and hard work makes Belmont even more beautiful! KBB is so proud of you all!

Each Spring KBB offers local Belmont schools $400 grants to help beautify their grounds. Belmont Middle School used their money to buy recycling trash cans. The students put the recepticles together and placed them around campus. What a great job they did! Thank you to these students for giving of their time & talents to help their school. Way to go, you all made a difference to better your school!

Gaston County's free Household Hazardous Waste event is scheduled for this Saturday at Dallas Park located at 200 Leisure Ln, Dallas NC from 8-11:30am. Residents can bring paint, batteries, gasoline, cleaners and more! Items will properly be disposed of and kept out of the landfill. Questions? Call 704-922-7729!
