Conduit began Sept. 29th after seeing the devastation that occurred in the WNC Mountains. We began without a name, you may recognize us as HurricaneHeleneNC, simply as a few friends who saw a need to orchestrate supply drop locations throughout Charlotte and Gaston County. Our first drop off locations were Compleat Kidz in Belmont, and Wooden Robot in Charlotte. Working with boots on the ground mo

vements in multiple counties throughout Western NC, we were able to distribute over 28 trucks and trailers full of vital supplies by Oct. 11th. As regions became overwhelmed with the love and support of their neighbors in the form of supplies, we shifted to distribution efforts to help sort and organize overflow donations from larger donation drops. This led to a change of supply hub, and we now occupy a 55,000sqft warehouse one minute past downtown Stanley, NC. Our mission now, as Conduit Carolinas, is to act as a connector piece between resources outside of the mountains and points of contacts directly serving their WNC communities. This mission cannot be done without volunteers like YOU, who have fueled us from the beginning. We need your help to continue to serve our neighbors, make sure they continue to feel seen as time passes, and give back to the glorious mountains that have shared so much happiness with us over these years. GASTON COUNTY: As the winter storm moves through North Carolina this weekend, our team will be available to support serious storm-related needs that do not require emergency services.

This includes help with relocation to warmth, vehicles stuck due to ice or snow, elders needing assistance or relocation, reasonable limb or tree removal that is making relocation impossible, etc.

If you or someone you know needs support due to storm impacts, please call or text 704-710-6674. This line will be monitored throughout the weekend and Monday for storm-related dispatch.

Remember - we are NOT medical or emergency services and in a life threatening emergency, call 911!

Our goal is be a support to our community and take weight off the shoulders of emergency teams, not replace them or hinder their mission.

Stay safe and take precautions as conditions change! We will update here as the weekend advances!

Tomorrow your hungry stomach makes a big impact! $5 from EVERY SPECIAL ordered tomorrow from 11am-4pm at Sammy’s Pub in Belmont helps us prepare for the upcoming season as we continue to help our neighbors in WNC!

Finally take your mother in law out, grab lunch for your office, skip out early for a good reason, or meal prep for dinner allll while doing a good deed. We know you want to!

Our team will be there to answer any questions you might have about Conduit Carolina’s, and offering a 50/50 that will go on all day (you won’t have to be present to win!)

You gotta eat lunch… and you gotta support local… and you gotta love your neighbors. Now you get to do all three! This Friday through lunch, every special sold at will benefit our mission to continue to help rebuild WNC post Hurricane Helene!

We promised to not forget our mission as time went on, and we need your help to keep that promise! Our current projects include supporting volunteers for Baptist on Mission, who are rebuilding homes in Marion County (40 in total!), assisting the Black Mountain children’s home, and supporting local groups right in our backyard like Moving Mountains Ministries, Least of These Carolinas, and more!

Come dine in, grab to go orders for your office, or meal prep for dinner and support a great cause. We’ll be there to talk about all things Conduit, and offering a 50/50 raffle!

A HUGE happy birthday to the woman who keeps the heartbeat of CC alive - Rebecca!

Rebecca, we are truly undeserving of the person that you are, the dedication you have given us, the selfless way you navigate life, and the joy you bring to us just as a friend on top of it all. When you walked into the middle school as a volunteer on day 3, we knew we were looking at a one of a kind leader.

Thank you for all that you do for Conduit, for your community, WNC, and all the wonderful connections you’ve made on behalf of this org. They are here because of you.

You remember the original post - you rose to the occasion - you made us who we are! And now we need your help again, in the form of a good time!

Your favorite crew is trying their hand at bartending to raise funds for the upcoming hurricane season! Catch Miranda, Keanu, Matt, Rebecca, Jason, Melanie, and a few others (maybe even a pastor in there to greet the team 🤪!) for a night of family friendly fun with a purpose.

How it works: each team member will be donating all of their tips from 6-10pm right to the fund! Walking through the door you’ll be put in a raffle to win a fire pit, and we’ll have a 50/50 raffle floating around as well!

If you know anything about , you know the kids are always welcome. Teach them the importance of community, and kick their butt in co****le while you’re at it!

We’ll see you behind the bar friends - oh, and tell yours!

Big day at the warehouse!

We get to see your incredible support and impact in action - like today’s supply loadouts for Operation Christmas Child , for a children’s backpack program in NC and WV, for Life Line Sampson in Sampson County, and for eight volunteer centers helping rebuild WNC.

We also partnered with Least of These Carolinas to support their kids’ closet.

Grateful for your support, for every connection, and for the friendships built along the way.
