2-4 Life Project is a multi-faceted, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization managed by volunteers who serve vulnerable children and animals in Uganda through education, medical care, and relevant support. Our mission never changes - to enhance the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children and animals by offering relevant assistance based on their current needs.

Our two days as practice guests of the Salaama Vocational Education Center (SVEC) pop-up hotel were so much fun! We have sponsored students attending the school and one is in the Hospitality and Catering program. Ritah and her classmates set up functional hotel rooms for our stay, registered us upon arrival, gave us tours of our rooms, and prepared all our meals. We were able to provide constructive feedback and enjoyed having conversations with the students about planning for their futures.

It has been quite a month in Uganda with elections causing riots and both causing the 2026 school year to be postponed until February. One bright spot is that Ritah spent her long break working an internship at a hotel. This was a huge step for this very shy girl who normally leans on her older brother. She is working long hours, but has not complained, and is learning new and useful skills.
We have been working via Whatsapp on her English language and writing skills also. Ritah will return for her 2nd and final year of vocational training in a few weeks.

There are many benefits to sterilization of street cats and dogs, and we have supported these clinics for over 15 years....

There are many benefits to sterilization of street cats and dogs, and we have supported these clinics for over 15 years. In November we were able to fully fund 10 such surgeries for cats at Cat Cradle Rescue Uganda!
