2-4 Life Project is a multi-faceted, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization managed by volunteers who serve vulnerable children and animals in Uganda through education, medical care, and relevant support. Our mission never changes - to enhance the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children and animals by offering relevant assistance based on their current needs.

Beautiful Lake Kachira provides food for the students of Vincent's primary school. The families who settled in the village of Ruragara came here to make a living from fishing. Recently, the lake was temporarily closed by government due to overfishing. This has caused food shortages in the area along with causing severe financial difficulty for the families. We received an urgent message that students were going without meals and parents could not pay tuition. No tuition affects the salaries of teachers and staff.
We were able to provide funds to purchase supplies to feed both students and staff for 2 weeks, the remainder of Term 2.

During our visit to Uganda earlier this year, we spent an afternoon at Manna Rescue Home. We had supported their efforts in the past, and wanted to check in to ask if there was anything we could provide.....of course the answer was a big YES! This organization is wonderful as they provide medical and educational services to HIV-positive children. The children live at the rescue home during the school year to ensure they receive their medications and support, then return to their family homes on school breaks so that they maintain a family connection.

Our two days as practice guests of the Salaama Vocational Education Center (SVEC) pop-up hotel were so much fun! We have sponsored students attending the school and one is in the Hospitality and Catering program. Ritah and her classmates set up functional hotel rooms for our stay, registered us upon arrival, gave us tours of our rooms, and prepared all our meals. We were able to provide constructive feedback and enjoyed having conversations with the students about planning for their futures.
