Monday Prayer for President Donald Trump

Heavenly Father,

Today we lift up Donald Trump, the President of the United States, before Your throne of grace.

First, Lord, we pray that You would humble his heart before You.
Your Word says, “God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Grant him a heart that bows before Your wisdom, recognizes his need for You, and seeks Your guidance above all human counsel. Let humility open the door for Your grace and favor to rest upon him.

Second, we pray that he would hunger for Your Word.
Place within him a deep desire to read and study the Holy Scriptures. As he opens the Bible, give him understanding and insight. Let Your Word become a lamp to his feet and a light to his path. May the truths of Scripture shape his thinking, his decisions, and his leadership.

Third, Lord, make him a man of prayer.
Draw him into a real and living relationship with You. Teach him to seek You in quiet moments, to call upon You for wisdom, and to trust You in every challenge he faces. Surround him with godly counselors who encourage him to pray and depend upon You.

Father, we ask that You would protect him physically, mentally, and spiritually. Give him wisdom to govern, courage to do what is right, and a heart that desires Your will above all else.

May Your hand rest upon our nation, and may Your purposes prevail.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus.

Amen.

Prayer for Protection Over President Donald Trump and National Leaders

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today acknowledging that You alone are the sovereign ruler over the nations. Your Word tells us that the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord, and You turn it wherever You will.

Today we lift up President Donald Trump and those who serve in positions of leadership and authority around him. We ask for Your divine protection over his life. Place a hedge of protection around him—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Guard him from every scheme of evil, every hidden danger, and every plan formed against him.

Lord, send Your angels to watch over him and those entrusted with the responsibility of governing. Protect him from harm, strengthen his body, steady his mind, and give him clarity of thought in every decision he must make.

Most of all, Father, we pray for his spiritual life. Draw him close to You. Surround him with wise and godly counselors who speak truth. Let him hear Your voice above every other voice. May his heart be sensitive to Your Spirit and guided by righteousness, humility, and the fear of the Lord.

We also pray for all those in positions of authority—military leaders, advisors, and government officials. Grant them wisdom, unity, and courage to act justly and wisely.

Lord, we trust that You are watching over this nation and the leaders who guide it. May Your purposes prevail above every human plan.

We place President Trump and all national leaders into Your hands, trusting in Your power, Your wisdom, and Your mercy.

In the mighty name of Jesus we pray,

Amen.

Monday Prayer for President Donald Trump, Our Nation and the Church

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”
— Psalm 20:7

Heavenly Father,

Today we come before You with sober hearts.

We lift up President Donald Trump to You. You are the One who raises up leaders and brings them down. We ask that You surround him with wise, steady, and discerning advisors. Grant him clarity of mind, courage without pride, restraint without fear, and wisdom that comes from above — pure, peaceable, and full of mercy.

Protect the men and women who serve in our military. Guard their bodies, steady their hands, and preserve their lives. Shield American families from fear and panic. Let Your mercy stand over this nation.

Father, we pray with brokenness for the Church in America.

Forgive us where we have trusted in power more than prayer.
Forgive us where we have leaned on political strength rather than spiritual authority.
Forgive us where pride has replaced humility.

Bring Your Church to her knees again.

Remind us that victory does not come by horses and chariots, by weapons or alliances — but by trusting in the name of the Lord our God. Purify Your bride. Awaken repentance. Restore first love. Raise up pastors who tremble at Your Word. Raise up believers who carry the fragrance of Christ in the midst of crisis.

Let this be a moment that humbles us — not hardens us.

And Father, we lift the people of Iran before You.

You see every mother.
You see every child.
You see those who have suffered for decades under oppression.
You see those who fear what war may bring.

Have mercy on them.

Protect civilians. Strengthen underground believers. Comfort the brokenhearted. Let the Gospel shine brightly even in darkness. May many in Iran encounter the Prince of Peace in the midst of turmoil.

Lord, restrain evil.
Limit destruction.
Turn hearts toward You in both nations.

We declare that You are sovereign over presidents and parliaments, over armies and borders. You alone are our refuge and strength.

Have mercy on America.
Have mercy on Iran.
Have mercy on Your Church.

In the mighty Name of Jesus,
Amen.

Please pray with me. This will not about the justification of this attack but prayer for our troops.

Prayer for Our Troops at War in Iran

Heavenly Father,

We come to You today lifting up our American troops who are at war in Iran. They are in dangerous situations, facing real threats, and carrying heavy responsibility.

Lord, protect them.
Place Your hand over them in every operation, every movement, and every moment of uncertainty. Shield them from harm. Give them alert minds, steady hands, and sound judgment under pressure.

Strengthen them physically and mentally. When fear rises, give them courage. When exhaustion sets in, give them endurance. When they feel isolated, remind them they are not alone.

Be with their families back home. Calm their fears. Give them peace as they wait and pray. Surround them with support and comfort.

Guide the leaders making decisions that impact these lives. Grant wisdom, clarity, and restraint.

We ask for protection.
We ask for strength.
We ask for safe return.

Bring our troops home safely, Lord.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Monday Prayer for President Trump [URGENT]

(We are not arguing for or against the merits of potential war or advocating for any position. We are here to pray and nothing else.)

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in a time of looming uncertainty and potential war with Iran. You are the God of peace, the God of wisdom, and the God who holds the nations in Your sovereign hand.

Lord, we lift up President Donald Trump to You. Grant him wisdom that comes from above — wisdom that is humble, discerning, and rooted in righteousness. Surround him with advisors who fear You, who seek truth, who counsel with prudence, and who understand the grave weight of decisions that affect life and death. May Your Spirit guide every counsel and every choice before him.

We pray for peace and safety for every American — those serving in uniform and those at home. In the face of possible conflict, protect the innocent, guard the vulnerable, and give courage where fear lurks. Let the shield of Your presence be with every family who waits and prays through these days. Lord, we also lift up those in Iran who are advocating for change. Give your protection over them and bless your church there we pray. Raise up leaders in Iran who will govern in peace and justice.

Father, we do not pray for war — we pray for wisdom.
We do not pray for destruction — we pray for Your transformative power.
We do not pray for fear — but for Your peace.

Where conflict seems inevitable, we ask that Your mercy intercepts every heart and every plan that promotes harm. Where aggression rises, let Your justice and mercy speak louder.

Lord, bring peace in our time.
Let righteousness be our defense.
Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done — on earth as it is in heaven.

In the powerful and compassionate Name of Jesus,
Amen.

MONDAY PRAYER FOR THE PRESIDENT AND OTHER GOVERNMENT LEADERS

Today let’s pray for all Believers who take seriously praying for our president and other leaders. Let’s not be weary in well-doing.

PRAYER

Some of God’s people are not rebellious — they are simply tired. Not faithless — just weary from standing, believing, and carrying more than they should carry alone. Jesus said, “Come unto Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). The work is finished. The striving can stop. You are not sustained by your strength, but by His grace. Christ is enough — and His rest is not a feeling, it is a reality secured by the cross.

I speak rest over you today.
I declare that heavy burdens are lifting.
I declare that anxious thoughts are quieting.
I declare that the peace of Christ is settling deeply into your body, soul, and spirit.
You are not behind. You are not failing. You are upheld by His grace.

Receive His rest. Walk in His peace. Trust His finished work.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we pray. Amen!

Monday Prayer for the President

Today we pray for the spiritual advisors of President Donald Trump.

Heavenly Father,
You are the source of all wisdom, truth, and righteousness.
Your Word declares that “the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,” and so we come before You humbly, asking for Your hand to guide those who counsel our nation’s leaders.

We lift before You the spiritual advisors surrounding President Donald Trump.
You alone know their hearts, their motives, and their foundations.
Where counsel is shallow, correct it.
Where counsel is mixed, purify it.
Where counsel is driven by ambition, politics, or personal gain, remove it.

Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly men and women—
people who tremble at Your Word,
who love truth more than influence,
who honor Scripture above opinion,
and who are not afraid to speak righteousness with humility and courage.

Place around the President advisors who truly know You—
not in name only, but in obedience,
not in appearance, but in fruit,
men and women shaped by prayer, grounded in the Bible,
and led by the Spirit of God.

Grant that those who advise him would instruct him in the ways of justice, mercy, humility, and truth.
Let them be voices of wisdom, not flattery;
voices of conviction, not compromise;
voices that point not to themselves, but to You.

Father, guard the President from deception—both from without and from within.
Give him discernment to recognize counsel that aligns with Your Word and the courage to reject what does not.

Above all, we ask that Your purposes would prevail,
that righteousness would be honored,
that truth would not be silenced,
and that Your name would be exalted in every place of authority.

We trust You, Lord, because “the king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD.”
Guide it according to Your perfect will.

We pray this not in fear, but in faith—
in the holy and gracious Name of Jesus.

Amen.

Each Monday, I will focus on praying for President Donald J. Trump. This is a prayer for him spiritually. I was listening to something he was saying recently. In my words, he said that Christianity is good for culture and for America. I rejoiced in that. Then he went on to say the if you’re good, you go to Heaven but if not you go somewhere else. That broke my heart because that’s not Christianity. There’s none righteous, no not one. If being good can get you to Heaven, then Jesus would not have had to die on the cross. With that in mind, join with me in this prayer.

A Prayer for Our President

Father God,
We thank You for every word that honors truth, light, and goodness.
We thank You that our president has acknowledged that Christianity is good for our culture and for our society. We know that where Christ is honored, lives are restrained from evil, families are strengthened, and justice has a moral foundation.

But Lord, we also know that the heart of Christianity is not goodness that earns heaven,
but grace that rescues sinners.

So we pray for our president—not in judgment, but in love.
If he believes that being “good” is the way into Your kingdom, we ask You to gently and clearly reveal something greater:
that no one is good enough on their own,
and yet heaven is opened wide through Jesus Christ.

Let him come to know—not just Christianity as a cultural good—but Christ as a personal Savior.
Not morality alone, but mercy.
Not self-effort, but surrender.
Not ladders we climb, but a Savior who came down.

Open his heart to the beauty of the gospel:
that salvation is not a reward for the righteous,
but a gift for the humble who trust in Your Son.

Give him wisdom beyond politics,
truth beyond talking points,
and grace that leads to life.

We ask this not only for him,
but for all who lead,
and all who listen.

In the Holy and Saving Name of Jesus,
Amen.

A Prayer for President Donald Trump

Today our prayer focus is for President Donald Trump.
We are living in unprecedented times—times of danger, uncertainty, and also great opportunity. The weight of leadership in such an hour is immense, and so we come before You, O God, humbly and earnestly.

Lord, grant him wisdom from above—wisdom that is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of good fruit. Give him discernment to know what must be done, courage to do what is right, and restraint where patience is required. Guard his heart and mind from fear, pride, and confusion, and anchor him in truth.

Surround him with godly counselors—men and women who fear You, who love righteousness, and who will speak truth even when it is costly. Remove voices of deception, manipulation, and self-interest, and establish voices of integrity, clarity, and moral courage around him.

Father, raise up prayer warriors across this nation and beyond—people who will faithfully intercede for him, not in anger or division, but in humility and faith. Stir the hearts of Your people to pray without ceasing, trusting that You are at work even when outcomes are unclear.

Protect President Trump and his family—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Strengthen him under pressure. Give him rest when weary, clarity when overwhelmed, and resolve when decisions are difficult.

Above all, Lord, may Your purposes prevail. We ask that Your will be done in our land, that righteousness would be exalted, justice upheld, and peace pursued. Use this moment in history to turn hearts back to You, to awaken the Church, and to bring about what only You can accomplish.

We place our trust not in any man, but in You alone—and we pray these things in humility and hope.

Amen.

A Prayer for Safety and Travel

Gracious Father,
In this busy and hurried season, we place ourselves and our loved ones into Your faithful care. As many travel by road, air, and rail, we ask that You go before us and surround us with Your protection.

Give alertness to drivers, wisdom to pilots, patience to travelers, and calm to anxious hearts. Guard us from accidents, delays, and unseen dangers. Let Your angels watch over every mile, every intersection, and every journey.

When crowds are heavy and tempers are short, fill us with grace. When schedules are tight and fatigue sets in, renew our strength. Help us to arrive safely, to depart peacefully, and to return home with gratitude.

Above all, remind us that You are our refuge and our shield, our ever-present help in times of need. We trust You with every step of the journey.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

ONE THING NEEDED

LUKE 10:39-42

In a home filled with activity and good intentions, Martha hurried from task to task, eager to serve Jesus well. Mary, her sister, chose a quieter place—she sat at His feet and listened. As Martha grew anxious and overwhelmed, Jesus gently spoke words that still speak to us today: “One thing is needed.”

This truth matters at all times, but it speaks especially clearly during the busy Christmas season. With schedules to manage, gifts to buy, meals to prepare, and expectations to meet, even good things can crowd out the best thing. Like Martha, we can become so busy doing things for Jesus that we forget to simply be with Him.

Jesus was not correcting Martha’s desire to serve, but her distracted heart. Mary understood that before any work flows from our hands, our hearts must first be filled by His presence. Sitting at His feet—listening, resting, and receiving—is the “better part,” and it will not be taken from us.

This Christmas, may we remember that the greatest gift is not found in our striving, but in His presence.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, in this busy season and in every season of life, help me choose the one thing that truly matters. Quiet my anxious heart and draw me to Your feet. Teach me to pause, to listen, and to rest in Your presence. May my service flow from time spent with You, and may Your peace guard my heart this Christmas. Amen.
