🍋💙 Today, members of the Bellingham Police Department stopped by Grace’s lemonade stand on Blackstone Street to support a great cause.

Grace (pictured in the pink shirt) organized today’s lemonade stand with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Boston Children’s Hospital in support of Crohn’s disease research and care. Grace herself lives with Crohn’s disease and has turned her experience into an opportunity to help others.

We were proud to support Grace’s efforts and her commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and families facing similar challenges.

Great job, Grace, and thank you for inspiring our community! 🍋👏💙

Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

We remember the fallen heroes who stood between good and evil, who ran toward danger when others ran away, and who paid the highest price so others could live in safety.

To the families, friends, and colleagues of our fallen brothers and sisters: your loss is felt deeply by every peace officer across this nation. You are never alone in your grief. We stand with you today and every day.

May we never forget their courage, their dedication, and the legacy they leave behind. Their names are etched in our hearts and on memorials across the country.

We honor them.

We remember them.

We continue their mission.

You’re the first voice in the darkness. The calm in the chaos. The one who turns panic into action, coordinates the response, and stays steady when everyone else is racing toward danger. While officers are out on the street, you’re managing the radio, the calls, the lives on the line - often without ever being seen or heard from by the public.

You work the nights, the holidays, the worst days imaginable, and you do it with skill, professionalism, and heart. You don’t just answer phones, you save lives every single shift.
