Thank you to everyone for helping make today an amazing day for all!! We are so proud of all our athletes from Bellingham, Blackstone, and Millville and to all our Best Buddies for volunteering! Can't wait to see what next year brings.

We are currently accepting food and drink donations for our upcoming Special Olympics event! Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and helps make this day extra special for our athletes.

We are looking for items such as:
• Water bottles
• Gatorade
• Individually wrapped snacks
• Chips
• Granola bars
• Fruit snacks
• Other easy grab-and-go snacks

All donations can be dropped off or delivered to Bellingham High School and labeled “Special Olympics.”

All athletic sign ups should be turned in!

Next phase begins next week! Your athlete will work with their teacher and paras to sign up for which events they would like to participate in.

Last phase we will send out volunteer sign ups (about 2 weeks before the main event)

Special Olympics is right around the corner and is scheduled for May 22nd (rain date: May 26th).

We are very excited for this event, as it is always a fun and meaningful experience for our students. Sign up have been sent out. Be on the lookout out for an email from you childs teacher. Sign ups need to be returned no later than April 15th, to ensure T-shirt orders are completed in time.

We are always looking for sponsors, so if you are interested in sponsoring our Special Olympics teams, we would truly appreciate your support!

We offer a few different sponsorship levels:

- $100 Donation – Small logo/name on the back of the team t-shirt

- $300 Donation – Medium logo/name on the back of the t-shirt

- $500 Donation – Large logo/name prominently displayed on the back of the t-shirt

- $1,000+ Donation – Your logo/name will be placed at the top of the shirt in the largest font

Go Anthony!!! All of us here at Best Buddies are so proud of you!

SUPER proud of our Captain Anthony for heading to Bridgewater State University for the Special Olympics swim qualifiers today! Anthony has participated in sports in Bellingham and the surrounding communities for years. Besides playing baseball and basketball with the Challenger programs, he plays for Bellingham, MA Public Schools Unified Basketball team and skis and swims for the Special Olympics! This guy is such a go-getter and we are so proud of him! 💪🫶🎉

Bellingham Best Buddies will host their 2nd Annual Sensory Friendly Dance on Friday, December 12th, from 6-8 pm at the High School.

This event will be held in the Bellingham High School Cafe, with a quiet space available in the library. The event is open to 6th grade and up, and admission is $5 at the door. Anyone can attend!
We are excited to host an inclusive and welcoming event for our students, and we would greatly appreciate your help sharing this with anyone who may be interested!

Snacks, drinks, and photo opportunities in the hall, and quiet activities in the library. We are also accepting donations for our Food drive.
