Audra moved to Orcas after 10 years in New York City working on Wall Street, she spent two years getting her hands dirty, seeking rootedness, and teaching herself to preserve fruit. When a neighbor told her of 100-year-old orchards not a stone’s throw away, she knew she’d found a tale she needed to tell.

Girl Meets Dirt is now in its 12th year and the proud recipient of 11 Good Food Awards and has been featured on The Today Show, Saveur Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Country Living, Sunset & more.
