Open to North Whatcom County residents who meet income guidelines. Walk-ins only — no appointment needed. Intake only (no consultations that day).

Today is Law Day.

Law Day is a reminder that the law belongs to all of us, and that access to justice should not depend on income, background, or circumstance.

At LAW Advocates, we see every day how much legal help matters: safety for survivors, stability for families, protection from debt and housing instability, and a path forward for people who would otherwise face the legal system alone.

The rule of law matters most when it is accessible, fair, and available to everyone.

Happy Law Day.

Today is Law Day — an annual commemoration held on May 1 to celebrate the rule of law, the idea that no person is above the law, and to encourage a deeper understanding of the legal system.

This year's theme is “The Rule of Law and the American Dream.” The ABA encourages everyone to reflect on what role the rule of law plays in the American Dream.
