I am so grateful to the folks who showed up at our campaign kick off!

It was beyond successful and heart warming, there is so much to say, but so hard to express the gratitude we have!

We had over 100 folks attend our event on a Tuesday night! All folks who wanted to support No Hate in WA State

More professional pictures to come, but just wanted to tell you all how much fun we had and how much work we accomplished Tuesday!

Live music, drag, community, and a whole lot of joy. Join No Hate in Washington State and our community partner Community First Whatcom for a big community celebration featuring live music performances from SPIDER CULT™ and 🪷Songbird🪷 . Also enjoy live drag performances from Cosmo Thafairy , Jesper Stone and 🌩️ Veehira 🌩️ ! Refreshments will be available!

As we head into the final stretch before November, we’re bringing volunteers, local organizations, supporters, and community members together to celebrate what we’ve built and kick off the next phase of our fall organizing.

No Hate in WA State is organizing around two statewide ballot initiatives, I-001 and I-638, that would change protections affecting Washington students, including confidential support at school and policies affecting trans students in school sports.

Community First Whatcom is working locally to pass a measure banning algorithmic price fixing, a common-sense protection against rent hikes that our community and housing market can’t sustain.

Whether you’ve been involved for months or are just learning about these campaigns, you’re invited. Meet the coalition, connect with people doing the work across Whatcom County, learn how you can get involved this fall, or simply come enjoy the performances and celebrate with your community.

We can’t wait to get everyone together who cares about trans & renter rights! 🎸

Come and enjoy the free drag show & music performances! We’ll start off with hearing from a few folks about the two anti-trans initiatives on the ballot & about the effort to ban landlords from using AI to price fix their rentals. 🛑

After, we’ll have a drag show with 3 wonderful performers, Cosmo Thafairy 🌩️ Veehira 🌩️ & Jesper Stone .

Then you’ll hear from the trans community directly & learn ways you can help protect LGBTQ+ students and Washington youth. We’ll end the night with performances from Songbirds & SPIDER CULT™ !

This show is FREE! Available to ALL ages & serves mocktails and cocktails!

We are SO excited to share our party with all of you and invite you all to come join us!

We’ve been fighting for trans youth rights since October of last year and we want to take a moment to celebrate before we jump into the next phase of our work!

We’re also eager to tell you that we are working with Community First Whatcom this fall. At this event you’ll get updates about No Hate in WA State and you’ll hear about the work Community First Whatcom is doing to protect YOUR rights as a renter.

Here in Bellingham Washington we say NO to hate and we say YES to banning algorithmic price fixing.

Joining us for this night is about getting to know the people in your community fighting for what matters to us. Mingle with folks, celebrate with music and enjoy live drag performances.

A special thank you to SPIDER CULT™ , Jesper Stone 🌩️Veehira 🌩️ Cosmo Thafairy Blue Room for coming together for this cause. This event could not have happened without their contributions & bc of them this is going to be one heck of a night!

This is an all ages show. There will be beverages for purchase as well in a dedicated area. ADA accessible through access to elevator.

Wow, it feels good to know so many in our Bellingham & Whatcom area stand with us in saying No Hate in WA State!

League of Women Voters B/WC organized a wonderful event which included 4 speakers with backgrounds of being a trans female athlete, a community advocate for trans and q***r youth, a mental health professional and a retired teacher.

Thank you all for being with us!!!

We had some special friends join from Community First Whatcom too! You can see Eukia and Cleveland!

And we had Jessica Rienstra for Whatcom join us too! We are so grateful!!

And as always, it is such a pleasure to see and work beside Nova✨ Martin our mythical, magical speaker! 💖
