It is always an honor to connect with the local businesses and families who make our community such a wonderful place to live, work, and grow.

Each year, the Center for Racial Harmony hosts “The Gathering” to celebrate outstanding regional students who are leading the way in peacemaking, harmony, and unity.

We would love to feature your organization or a personal message from your family in our official event booklet, which is shared widely with local leaders, educators, and attendees.

Thank you so much for your continuous support; our mission is only possible because of dedicated neighbors like you. Email us to learn more about reserving your ad space and celebrating these amazing young leaders!

Today, on September 26th, we stand right in the heart of Hispanic Heritage Month. This is a time to honor the history, vibrant culture, and enduring contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. But more than that, it is a reminder of the beautiful, diverse fabric that defines who we are.👩🏻‍🦱👨🏻‍🦰🧕🏼👨🏽‍🦳👱🏿‍♀️🧔🏽

True racial harmony is not just the absence of conflict. It is the active presence of mutual respect, curiosity, and shared joy. A single month on a calendar gives us a focal point, but our commitment to one another must be daily. It lives in the choices we make to listen to new stories, support one another, and build neighborhoods where everyone belongs.

As we reflect on the importance of today, let this month be a catalyst. Let us carry this spirit of unity forward, embracing our differences & honoring our shared humanity to create a stronger, more harmonious community for us all. 🫶🏼🫶🏿🫶🏽🫶🏾

Looking back at last year’s The Gathering, our hearts are still full. ✨

We had the profound honor of celebrating incredible student peacemakers, hearing their powerful stories, and meeting many families and supporters of our future leaders.
From the joyful energy of our Harambee celebration and the wonderful array of diverse talents shining bright on stage, to gathering with our dedicated Community Members and educators, it was a day to remember.

We are excited for this year’s Gathering!

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear friend, Roz. 🕊️

He put up a remarkable fight and left an indelible mark on our community.

Whenever we gathered to champion harmony, Rosmon always showed up, set up, and filled the room with music that brought us closer together.

Our community mourns his loss deeply. Our hearts & thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
Rest easy, Roz. Thank you for the music and the courage. 🎼🎵🎺
