Today is White Cane Safety Day!

Individuals who are blind or visually impaired have the right to be independent and move freely. A white cane or guide dog serves as a tool to give them the ability to achieve a more safe and independent life.💙

October is Blindness Awareness Month!

This is a month to raise awareness for the blind and visually impaired community. 💙

Join us for our upcoming audio description event at Shakespeare Glen! 🐅

Romeo & Zooliet on Thursday, October 8th, at 6:30 PM.

Romeo & Zooliet is a vibrant family comedy filled with laughter, friendship, and larger-than-life puppets. The new and improved production features dazzling animal puppetry by world-renowned Michael Curry Design, known for its work on Broadway’s “The Lion King” and “Frozen” along with Olympic and Super Bowl ceremonies.

“Romeo and Zooliet” tells the story of zoo animals mounting their own production of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.” In this animal-centered version, the Montagues are herbivores and the Capulets are carnivores. Can Romeo, a prairie dog, and Juliet, a grizzly bear, cross the biological divide and become best friends?

The show runs 80 minutes with no intermission – refreshments available on site.

Congratulations to the Lions for winning the 2026 Ultimate Beepball Tournament! The team captained by Erik Rodriguez pulled out a 12-6 victory in the championship game over the Defenders.

Ultimate Beepball Tournament top offensive players:

1. Casey Krouse: .846, 11 runs in 13 at-bats.
2. Zak Turner: .769, 10 runs in 13 at-bats.
3. Tyler Mireault: .636, 7 runs in 11 at-bats.
