This has been on my mind all afternoon. My pastor Don Harper and my self went to visit one of our church members who is in the hospital and is a preacher.
He had a medical emergency one day last week and fell hit chin broke his jaw in 3 places. Plus he has other medical issues on top of this. Keep Tommy in your prayers and his wife. Said all that to say this.
We have revival starting this Wednesday at
As he is laying in a hospital bed on heavy medication. Tommy is upset because he will not be able to go to the revival do to the surgery he is going to have to have on Friday.
This is a man that is more concerned about missing CHURCH than being in the hospital. In the condition that he is in. If we ALL HAVE THAT MUCH LOVE FOR GOD AND CHURCH Our churches would be full and lives would be changed and on fire for God. But we put everything else in front of God and wonder why our lives are in a mess.

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:”

We have people who would LOVE TO BE IN CHURCH And can’t. But We have people who can be in church and won’t go to church. What are your priorities. Is it GOD, or is it this world.

You are clay in the potter’s hand.

“As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand.” Jer 18:6

During a prayer meeting one night, an elderly woman pleaded with God, “It really doesn’t matter what You do with us, Lord; just have Your way in our lives.” Adelaide Pollard, a well-known itinerant Bible teacher, overheard her prayer. At the time, she was deeply discouraged because she had been unable to raise the support she needed to go to Africa for missionary service. She was moved by this woman’s sincere request of God, and when she went home that evening, she meditated on these words from Scripture: “Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying…‘As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand’” (Jer 18:3-6 NKJV). Before retiring that night, Adelaide took pen in hand and wrote a prayer that has become a well-known hymn: “Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way! Thou art the potter, I am the clay. Mold me and make me after Thy will, while I am waiting, yielded and still. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way! Search me and try me, Master, today! Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now, as in Thy presence humbly I bow.” Whatever you may be going through right now, remember that you are clay in the potter’s hand.
