Bedford Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association - bcpaaa Our association is comprised of citizens who have completed the Bedford Citizens Police Academy (BCPA) program was founded in October 1999.

The BCPAAA provides both volunteer and financial support to the City of Bedford TX Police Department through numerous opportunities throughout the year. The Association helps to promote the Bedford Citizens Police Academy class that is held two times a year for people who live and work in the City of Bedford, Texas

This week during National Police week, the following restaurants provided lunch or dinner to the Bedford Police Department personnel to show their support of the organization. We appreciate their willingness to provide the meals during this special week.

The Alumni Association worked with the Bedford Police Department to create "No Soliciting" vinyl window stickers and small yard signs that include the department's patch and the city ordinance related to solicitation in the City (see pictures).

The vinyl sticker is 6" x 6"
The yard sign is 6" x 9" (comes with 2 stakes)

In honor of National Records Management month, the Bedford Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association honored the Bedford Texas Police Department Records Division with a snack packed goodie basket today!

This division handles all Records requests from the public, home security system permits, and solicitor permits as well as ensuring all Police Department Records are maintained.

The women in this division do an amazing job each and every day and we appreciate them!

This week we honor the men and women of the Bedford Texas Police Department Dispatch Division during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.

These men and women are the first voice that you hear when calling 911 and the lifeline to police officers and firefighters during each call they are sent to answer. The calm voice in every emergency situation.

Today, the Alumni Association delivered a large snack filled basket to Dispatch Supervisor Orlando Prieto to be shared with all dispatchers in recognition of their daily work supporting the Bedford Texas Police and Fire Department personnel.

Tired of solicitors ignoring your "No Soliciting" signs? The Alumni Association worked with the Bedford Police Department to create vinyl window stickers and small yard signs that include the department's patch and the city ordinance related to solicitation in the City (see pictures).

The Alumni Association will be at Kroger, 2109 Harwood Road, Bedford on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10 AM to 2 PM selling the window stickers and yard signs.
