Hello Cyclones!

We hope everyone had a lovely summer!

As we prepare for the start of a new school year, the Parent Association invites you to join us for our upcoming Back-to-School events.

These gatherings are a great opportunity to meet teachers and staff, reconnect with friends, learn about the year ahead, and become familiar with important school information and resources.

Whether you are new to our school or a returning family, we hope you will join us as we come together to begin another successful school year.

We look forward to seeing you and welcoming everyone back soon!

August 26th Ready for School Fair, 4:30-6:00 pm: Drop supplies, shop the uniform closet, and get information about activities/clubs. New family orientation from 5-6 pm. (Cafeteria and Media Room)

September 1st First Day Donuts and Coffee: Join us after drop-off for donuts and coffee to celebrate the start of a new school year!

September 3rd PA Meeting, 6:30 pm: Join us in the Media Room for our first PA meeting of the year; attendance earns you one SHARE hour.

September 18th Welcome Back BBQ, 5:00-8:00 pm: An evening of food, community, and fun to kick off the new school year.

All our welcome to join us in a celebration of our sweet Mindy. Her funeral mass will be August 19th at 11am. 🤍 🕊️

Dear families & friends,

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of a beloved member of our St. Cecilia community, Mrs. Mindy Teach.

Mrs. Teach has been a part of this community for 26 years, first as a dedicated parent and the ultimate volunteer, and later as a beloved employee. Throughout her time with us she has battled a devastating Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis with incredible tenacity and grace. Though it may have slowed her physical pace, it never stopped her from living life to the fullest. When it robbed her of her ability to drive, Mindy was still able to coordinate all the lunch duty volunteers, as well as helping with front office tasks from home.

Though many of you may not have had the chance to meet her in person, please know that she cared for this community, her faith, and her family above all else. Please keep her husband and daughters in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this profound loss.

💙✨ We are happy to celebrate four very special members of our school family as they begin their well-earned retirement.

For years, our beloved "school grandmas" have shared their time, kindness, wisdom, and endless love with our students and staff. Their warm smiles, caring hearts, and unwavering support have touched countless lives and helped make our school feel like home.

While we will miss seeing them in the halls each day, we are so grateful for the impact they have made on our community. Thank you for everything you have done for our students and families.

Please join us in wishing them a retirement filled with joy, good health, new adventures, and plenty of time with family. 💐❤️
