The recent qualification of Haiti’s national soccer team for the 2026 World Cup signifies a monumental achievement for the country. Soccer has a deeply ingrained cultural significance, with street games played in every neighborhood.

Our youth are in crisis again… being moved around because of the gangs coming into their towns. Please pray for Haiti- for peace and justice for the beautiful people who live there. 🇭🇹

Dyna was able to visit some of the youth! 🥰

Haitian youth face widespread social barriers of fear and mistrust, which are aggravated by the low education rate. Uneducated men and women compare their illiteracy to blindness or like being an animal with a rope around its neck. The average Haitian has less than 5 years of schooling due to an inability to afford school fees, which perpetuates the cycle of poverty.

We got a truck!! Thank you to for donating money for us to buy a truck that keeps our Haitian team safer! Now, instead of riding public transportation where gangs have easy access to, our team can visit the youth on their own schedule, without stopping every couple miles and safely traveling the roads. We are so grateful for the generosity! Our team is so excited and thankful!

Many Haitian children are back to school after the holidays break, but in many communities, displaced children lack essential documents, such as birth certificates and school records, making their enrollment difficult. Additionally, the shortage of available spaces in schools further complicates their reintegration. As of March 2024, over 362,000 people were internally displaced across the country, making Haiti the country with the largest number of displacements globally due to crime-related violence. 🇭🇹

Christmas in Haiti used to be a time when culture, spirituality and friendship came together to create a unique experience. Christmas Eve was a day deeply rooted in the country’s traditions; an opportunity to bring friends together, share music, festive meals and celebrate together in a spirit of solidarity.

Nowadays, many Haitian children often go hungry. Some of them have not had the chance to attend school for months. The current situation has reduced the chances for Haitian kids to enjoy Christmas like in the past. Ncompass has been working with the most underserved youth to create a sense of normalcy.

Wideline has graduated from our Transitions Program!!

She graduated from University last Dec, but we have walked along side her til now because she had to do internships and take government tests. She has one more test to take for her Nursing license and then will be on her own! We are so incredibly proud of all the hard work she has done over the years and pray she will find a job quickly. 💗
