Viva Village

Viva Village Our purpose is to build and sustain a strong community that connects, engages, and supports older adults .

Our programs and services make it possible to connect with one another and live fulfilled lives in neighborhoods that we love! Viva Village is a nonprofit organization of members and volunteers with a common goal to care for and support each other so we can live in our own homes and stay engaged in the community for as long as desired. Viva Village is part of Villages NW, a network of seven Villag

es in the Portland metro area. Our local network is connected to a thriving nationwide movement of over 200 Villages providing programs and services to enable seniors to remain comfortably and securely in their own home. Viva Village offers members:
• Assistance from trained and vetted volunteers who can provide transportation, household assistance, technology help, and perform minor repairs
• Access to a list of screened professional services for larger projects, such as home maintenance, major home projects, and garden upkeep
• Social, cultural, and educational programs such as special interest groups, fun social events, day and evening outings, lectures and conferences
