Beaver County has a rich history as an industrialized steel town with strong values and work ethic. The steel plants may be gone, but the county has grown into a place rich with education, healthcare and small business and industry. Along the way, EVERYONE had a part to play and will continue to do so thanks to the work that the folks at BCRC is doing to teach adults with disabilities the same sense of belonging, independence and pride.

Explosives detection canines play a vital role in keeping our nation's transportation systems safe. The U.S. Department of Transportation and the Transportation Security Administration are looking for volunteers to help train the canines to do their jobs at the highest level at the Pittsburgh International Airport.
