We’re giving a BIG shoutout to Memory Matters and Debbie, Community Engagement & Education Director and Certified Master Dementia Care Practitioner, for bringing the Brain Boosters™ course to Lowcountry Outreach!

Throughout this three-week series, participants explored ways to support brain health, strengthen memory, improve attention, and build everyday habits that help their brains thrive. We love seeing our community come together to learn, grow, and take meaningful steps toward well-being!

Thank you to Debbie, Brenda, and the Memory Matters team for sharing your knowledge and making this valuable program available to our Beaufort neighbors! 🙌

Scammers don’t take the holidays off. Make sure you’re one step ahead! 🚨

From suspicious texts and online shopping scams to holiday schemes designed to catch people off guard, knowing what to look for can make all the difference.

We’re welcoming Lt. Daniel Allen of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office back to Lowcountry Outreach for our second Scam & Fraud Prevention Workshop! This time, we’ll focus on holiday scams to watch for and the current scams impacting Beaufort County that our neighbors need to know about.

🎨 Our sidewalks got a colorful makeover!

We loved seeing the creativity of All Aboard Beaufort's Youth Leadership STAR Program participants as they filled the sidewalks around the building with chalk art! As part of their preperation for Red Ribbon Week, these local students used their artwork to share messages of positivity, awareness, and making healthy choices. ❤️

We're happy to see our space being used for creativity, youth leadership, and community engagement. Check out some of their amazing artwork 🖍️

Under this roof, support isn’t just about meeting a need. It’s about creating moments of joy along the way 🙌🎨

Through Memory Matters Adult Social Day Program, individuals in the early to middle stages of dementia can spend time in a safe, engaging environment filled with meaningful activities, social connection, brain games, music, art, animal therapy, and a healthy lunch.

And while our loved ones are building connections of their own, caregivers have a place to feel supported, too! The Caregiver Support Group meets on the 2nd Wednesday each month at Lowcountry Outreach, creating a welcoming space for those caring for someone with dementia.

Because everyone deserves a place to connect, feel supported, and find a little joy 🩵
