Dragonboat Beaufort is a non-profit dedicated to providing grants to cancer patients who live, work or receive treatment in Beaufort County, South Carolina.

DragonBoat Beaufort is a non-profit organization focused on an active wellness program for Beaufort’s male and female cancer survivors. Inspired by award-winning documentary “Awaken the Dragon” screened February 18th at the Beaufort International Film Festival, we have created and launched DragonBoat Beaufort, a Cancer Survivor Mixed DragonBoat Racing Team. We have established 501c-3 status via Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, we have a strong Board of Directors and a clear mission with specific goals. Its was a great Sunrise paddle this morning for the DragonBoat Beaufort team. They were on the water by 7:00AM, paddled with the dolphins, blue herons, and lots of other scenery our beautiful Low Country can offer. Awesome therapy for the soul.
