Hope in Him feeling blessed to be part of two remembrance services on International Overdose Awareness Day. The night ended a long day in Camden, New Jersey at the Remembrance & Hope Memorial Vigil. Remembering the 1546 people who died from overdoses in New Jersey in 2025. The park was alight with purple. The highlight of the night was Camden County Sheriff, Chuck Billingham speaking of his personal battle with alcohol addiction. I spoke to him briefly prior to the start of the event, and he spoke of the importance of faith. He and his department have a commitment to help the community and officers struggling with mental health and or addiction issues. He gave a huge shout out to several in the audience who were in recovery houses, whom he personally mentors weekly. Their Resiliency Team helps those struggling with substances and or mental health issues, to get back on track with resources and support. Well over 100 were present to remember those lost to addiction and to unite as community.

Earlier in the day I had the privilege of attending the 6th annual Flag Lowering Ceremony, New Castle, DE with Face the Facts. The memories of the 338 people who died from addiction, Delaware in 2025 were honored. Penny Rogers brought many to tears as she spoke of losing her daughter Gabriella to addiction. This was personal as Gabes & our organization worked together on multiple occasions, to bless many struggling with addiction at Mommies & Me Sober Living and other centers across the state. Hero Help was highlighted as they help those struggling with addiction seek treatment and provide resources. Hope on Deck, Impact Life and many other agencies who support those in recovery were there for this important event. We lowered the flags to remember those lost to the disease of addiction. Several others spoke of their loss. The bright faces of recovery at both events were encouraging. Faith, hope & love, but the greatest is love 🧡I Cor 13:13 Let’s come together to stop 🛑 the stigma & end the overdose. It takes a village to show Gods love as we uplift others. Every person is precious to God and he loves all of us equally 🙌

We were thankful to provide a case of Pepperidge Farms Cookies 🍪 case of Mike & Ike’s Candy 🍬 case of Chocolate 🍫 Croissant 🥐 several Life Recovery ❤️‍🩹 Bibles & a case of Pizza 🍕 Protein Chips to Robert & Addison for their recovery center. Those items were donated in Gabriella Tambourelli & Gary Boyd memories. Our community partners at The Bridge of Hope Church, Blessings of Hope and our donors are greatly appreciated🤝

Hope in Him while out of state for disaster relief in Indiana, discovered that an unprecedented tornado 🌪️ caused severe damage in Dover, Delaware. Two hotels that housed many both short & long term residents were extremely damaged. As soon as we returned to the area, we went to provide support. We quickly discovered that, some of those who were displaced were at the Hopes & Dreams Peer Resource Center. There we met Bill Brown a community partner from Brandywine Community Counseling Services. The center treats everyone they serve with kindness & compassion. So thankful to connect with and bless many survivors of the recent storm. Blessings included a case of Pepperidge Farms Cookies 🍪 a case of Protein Bars, Starbucks Coffee, blessing bags & a 1/2 a case of Life Recovery ❤️‍🩹 Bibles. We prayed with 20 people who wanted to reclaim the peace only ✝️ provides after disaster. They were thankful to God to be alive. Our volunteer Justin Patel a U.S. Marine Corps vet who is recovering ❤️‍🩹 out loud was a tremendous blessing. Faith, hope & love, but the greatest is Love 🧡I Cor. 13:13 Our community partners The Bridge of Hope Church, Blessings of Hope & From the Ashes Inc are greatly appreciated. Please keep Dover in prayer as it recovers from the tornado🙏 If you were displaced and still need a voucher for housing, please reach out to American Red Cross. Food resources can be found at Maranatha Life Changing Church - Dover, Delaware. Counseling resources are available at Safe Harbor.

Hope in Him feeling thankful to have made it safely to Noblesville, Indiana. We traveled through roads getting ready to flood from several inches of rain, on Route 70 in Ohio. Then got rerouted as the major artery was shut down for over 20 miles and took and extra h 1 1/2 hour travel time to get to Noblesville, Indiana. Hundreds of homes were damaged or destroyed due to catastrophic flooding. The river crested at almost 25 feet setting a record as 7 were killed across five counties. We were so thankful to make it to the Disater Relief recovery center at Hamilton Fairgrounds. Where we offloaded thousands of pounds of much needed disaster relief supplies including 100 bibles, 15 cases Death Wish Coffee ☕️ 20 1.5lbs bags 8 o’Clock 🕗 Coffee, 30 1.5Lb Bags of Starbucks Coffee, 3 cases disinfectant wipes 🧻, 2 cases TP, 3 cases paper towels, 50 cases of potato 🥔 chips & pretzels 🥨 30 bags gently used designer clothes, 20 new high end comforters, several cases of candy, tent, many new sleeping bags, 18 cases of cookies 🍪 1000 brand new t-shirts for kids, several cases canned foods, case plastic cups & more…. We prayed with many who lost everything they owned. Claiming the peace that only ✝️brings in the midst of destruction. It was encouraging to meet the muck out crews from Grace Church ⛪️ and pray for their safety. Then Patrick & Crew loaded us up with much needed relief supplies for Gary, Indiana. Our team then went to Gary, Indiana where the severe flooding had knocked out the power to thousands for over a week. American Red Cross with Hal and crew were manning the disaster relief shelter. They treated everyone with dignity and compassion. Thank you Officer 👮‍♂️Matt who helped us offload 3 cases Pepperidge Farms Cookies 🍪 3 cases protein bars, 3 cases candy 🍭20 deluxe packed designer back packs reserved for kids, 2 cases hand wipes 🧻 10 cases of Death Wish Coffee we reserved for the ⛑️ first responders, Life Recovery ❤️‍🩹 Bibles, 8 1.5lbs bags Starbucks Coffee reserved for the shelter, case Muscle Milk 🥛 several blessing bags, 3 cases Nature Valley Granola bars & case of Texas Road House Peanuts 🥜 for police 👮‍♂️ force. We want to thank the folks at Serve Hamilton & American 🇺🇸 Red Cross for collecting and distributing life saving disaster relief supplies. While treating everyone with kindness & compassion. We prayed with many there who were feeling overwhelmed with no power for a week. Once again we thank our community partners Maranatha Life Changing Church - Dover, Delaware, From the Ashes Inc, Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Matthews Church, The Bridge of Hope Church and Saint Helenas Catholic Church. Our many volunteers who brought it all together behind the scenes are greatly appreciated. Vincent B who teaches autistic kids was invaluable, as he drove our disaster relief supplies truck. Please keep Indiana in 🙏prayer for strength, peace & comfort, as they recover and remember those lost to unprecedented flooding. Though, I grieve for a time the joy of the Lord is my strength.
