This weekend, BWC's Co-Founder and Executive Director, Dorla Christie, attended the 2026 PanCAN in Action: National Affiliate Forum!

With nearly 10 years of involvement with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and three National Forums under her belt, her passion for this organization remains as strong as ever!

A weekend of learning, reconnecting, honoring our WHY, and being surrounded by people committed to changing the course of pancreatic cancer.

At BWC, we share that commitment through raising awareness, honoring lives, and keeping legacies alive.

Because every life matters. Every story matters. And survival should be the EXPECTATION, not the exception! 💜

A Great Day 5K is more than a race on our calendar. 💜

We created this nighttime run/walk during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month as a way to bring people together around movement, remembrance, awareness and hope - while supporting BWC’s work.

On November 14, runners, walkers, volunteers, families and supporters will gather at the James F. Hall Trail in Newark.

You don’t have to be a runner to have a place in this event!
