⛳ What an Incredible Day at Our 1st Annual Golf Tournament!

Our 1st Annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, May 28th, was a tremendous success, and we are filled with gratitude for everyone who helped make it possible.

A heartfelt thank you to every Sponsor, Vendor, Golf Player, CISB Board Member, and CISB Employee who supported this special event. Your participation, generosity, and enthusiasm made the day unforgettable. Thank you to Stonebridge at Newport Golf Course for you exceptional service and support.

More importantly, your support went far beyond a day on the golf course. You helped create opportunities and make a meaningful impact in the life of a student. Because of your commitment, students will benefit from resources, support, and opportunities that help them succeed.

We are truly grateful for each and every person who contributed to the success of this tournament. Together, we demonstrated the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together for a shared purpose.

📚✨ Celebrating a Successful Year of Books for the Minds! ✨📚

This year, our Books for the Minds program provided 6th grade students with opportunities to strengthen their literacy skills while also nurturing their social and emotional development. Through reading, collaboration, and meaningful discussions, students enhanced their reading comprehension and critical thinking skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Participating 6th graders from our junior high campuses competed in a point-based reading competition by reading two books and meeting weekly to participate in group discussions and activities throughout the program.

We are so proud of your hard work and dedication!

We also applaud and congratulate ALL of the amazing 6th grade readers who participated this year. Your commitment and enthusiasm made this program a success! 👏📖

To celebrate the conclusion of the program, all participants enjoyed a special field trip to AR Entertainment. Students also received a reading medal and certificate for their accomplishments, while the Horace Mann Junior High champions received a trophy in addition to their medals and certificates. 🏅🏆

Thank you to everyone who helped make this program meaningful and memorable for our students. We wish you an enjoyable summer that includes READING!

🚀🔬 This past Saturday, May 16th, a few of our junior high students had an exciting opportunity to explore STEM in action at the ConocoPhillips STEMZONE! Through interactive activities centered around science, soccer, and bowling, students engaged in hands-on learning that made STEM both fun and meaningful. ⚽🎳🧪

We are incredibly grateful to our partners at the University of Houston STEM Center for making this experience possible and for continuing to inspire the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders.
