Our volunteers are hard at work getting everything ready for the conference — folding shirts, assembling swag bags, and putting heart into every detail.

Their dedication is what makes BCPAAA shine.

Thank you to every single person helping us bring this event to life.

MONDAY NIGHT BUSINESS SAFETY TIP 🔒🏢

From your BCPAAA Citizens on Patrol
Baytown business owners & managers — start your week secure:

✅ Lock & Light: Ensure all doors, windows, and rear entrances are locked. Leave interior/exterior lights on overnight — well-lit businesses deter break-ins.

✅ Clear Sight Lines: Keep windows clear of clutter so patrol can see inside during night checks.

✅ Cash Handling: Don't count cash in view of windows. Make night deposits at varying times.

✅ Cameras Ready: Check that your security cameras are recording and positioned on entrances/exits.

✅ See Something? Report suspicious vehicles or loitering after hours to non-emergency dispatch immediately. Don't confront.

🚦 MINI TRAFFIC TIP 🚦

Blinkers tell a tiny tale —
a spark of light, a guided trail.
Flip it on and let us know
which way your Friday plans will go.

🚨THURSDAY TIP - What is Citizens on Patrol? 🚓

🤔 Did you know? Our BCPAAA COP members are all graduates of the Citizens Police Academy who continue to volunteer.

❌Myth: Citizens on Patrol are police officers.

✅Fact: We are trained civilian volunteers. We are unarmed, we do not make traffic stops or arrests, and we never put ourselves in danger. We patrol, observe, and report suspicious activity directly to dispatch.

🥅 Our goal is simple: To be a visible deterrent to crime and to support our Police Department so officers can focus on higher priority calls.
