Bray’s impact goes way beyond marketing, though. They’ve been instrumental in launching new programs, delivering events, and driving our community outreach efforts. They've also been an important advocate for program evaluation and increasing accessibility. 🏳️‍⚧️

Get some assistance or give back directly with our Community Closet program! 🌈

The Community Closet is a program of Great Lakes Bay Pride that seeks to provide assistance to 2SLGBTQ+ community members in our regional service area with personal hygiene products, clothing, and more. Great Lakes Bay Pride strives to fulfill requests to the greatest extent possible, but please note that due to limited funding and availability of supplies, your request may not be available.

Whether you’re checking your own coverage or helping a parent, partner or loved one, this is a chance to sit down with a counselor, ask questions, compare options and make sure you feel confident about your Medicare choices for the year ahead.

Did you know that nearly 2% of all people are intersex? If you've met 50 people, chances are you've met an intersex person! 🟣

Intersex Awareness Day, October 26, 1996, marks the first public demonstration by intersex people in North America. Morgan Holmes and Max Beck of Intersex Society of North America (ISNA) were joined by allies from Transexual Menace and other organizations in Boston, Massachusetts, outside an American Academy of Pediatrics conference.

Today, intersex people and our allies are following in their footsteps, organizing in cities around the U.S., and around the world. 🙌

Despite opposition from healthcare and human rights groups, surgeries to "normalize" children's bodies based on stereotypes continue today. These often result in complications, loss of sensation, and sterilization.

Let's advocate for letting people decide for themselves, without having to feel like their bodies are "wrong!" 🫂
