Word of Freedom Ministries We believe that ‘faith that comes by hearing and hearing of the word of God'. For ‘where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.’

Word of Freedom Ministries is a group of people led by the love of Jesus, whom God has brought together to love and feed the less fortunate. We come together to love upon and minister to these people every Saturday at Leverich Park in Vancouver Washington. Providing them with much needed items and supplies, as well as physical and spiritual food, through the 'Word of God'. Word of Freedom Ministr

ies was founded in November 2015 by Chris and Mary Marendish who had joined an already existing outreach at Leverich Park in September of 2011. Since that time other groups and volunteers have joined together to feed and care for the people in need who live in our great city. This ministry has changed over the years, and continues to grow through the love and support of God our Father,our many supporters and volunteers into what it is today. We eagerly look forward to what God has in store for us in the future.

Our church started a new Prayer Challenge this week. Praying Gods Word back to Him and over our lives. Take a promise of God or a word of encouragement and personalize it. Speak it to God with thanksgiving in your heart that His Word never fails and do so Knowing that He hears you as His beloved Child.

Example: “Lord, You said in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious. Today I choose to bring my worries to You. I thank You that I am Your child, and You promise me peace.”

Our hearts and prayers go out to those in Pakistan. Massive flooding in and around the city of Lahore. Our church building is safe so far but so many families have lost everything! We are sending assistance for food and supplies.
