Babies in Need Babies in Need, an all-volunteer ministry, provides families of newborns in Clark County with essential clothing, bedding, car seats and nice extras

Who we are:
Each month about 30 of the 500 babies born in Clark County need our help. Their families need help providing the basics for their care
We’re here to ensure that every baby in Clark County can have access to essential clothing, bedding, car seats and nice extras. We include warm, inviting booklets of encouragement, sound advice and lists of free local services for new parents. We tuck

in a picture book and tips on reading with children and a booklet of familiar, well-loved prayers for parents and children. We serve these children and families so they may know God’s love through our love. We are an active, all-volunteer ministry, excited about the opportunity to serve and thankful for the love and generosity of people near and far who share our vision and commitment. Who We Serve: Our families are of all racial, ethnic, educational and religious backgrounds and face big challenges:

Single parenthood
Low (or no) income
Homelessness
No family nearby for support
Premature or special needs babies
Domestic violence or substance abuse
Medical problems
Job loss

Our gifts provide concrete help and let families know they are supported by a caring community as they start a new life with their baby.

Kiwanis Clubs partnered with McDonald's for their 20th Annual Christmas Giving Tree drive for Babies in Need. A huge thank you to Cascade Park, Ft. Vancouver, Salmon Creek, Battle Ground and Ridgefield-La Center clubs for their many trips and carloads of beautiful baby gifts of all kinds. Thanks, too, to their enthusiastic donors at Touchmark Senior Living.

Babies in Need is always grateful for the generous community support received through these giving organizations.
