🩺 NEW at HOPE: BRG Care on the Go!

Beginning September 21, BRG Care on the Go will bring its mobile health unit to HOPE Ministries every third Monday of the month!

Get convenient primary and urgent care for allergies, asthma, colds, flu, sinus infections, headaches, diabetes, UTIs, back and joint pain, stomach issues and more - plus vaccines, wellness checkups, physicals, well-child visits and weight management services.

💙 No health insurance? You can still receive care.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. When possible, call 225-763-4500 ahead of time to schedule.

🩺 Healthcare is coming to HOPE!

We’re excited to welcome BRG Care on the Go to HOPE Ministries for the first time on Monday, September 21, from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.!

BRG Care on the Go is a mobile health unit providing primary and urgent care services in a comfortable, convenient setting - and you can receive care even if you don’t have health insurance.

Services include care for allergies, asthma, colds and coughs, flu, sinus and ear infections, headaches and migraines, back and joint pain, diabetes, stomach issues, UTIs and more, as well as:

💉 Vaccines and immunizations
🩺 Sports and school physicals
👧 Well-child visits
⚖️ Weight management
…and more!

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. When possible, please schedule ahead by calling 225-763-4500.

🎉 **SHE GOT THE JOB SHE WANTED!** 🎨❤️

When Ms. Mary came to The Way to Work, she had a goal in mind: **she wanted to work at a particular art gallery.**

After retiring and deciding she wanted to earn additional income, Mary came to TWTW for support with applications, her resume, interview skills, and preparing to reenter the workforce. She completed The Way to Work program, but that art gallery job was still the one she had her heart set on.

So she kept going.

After months of waiting and working toward her goal, **Mary got the job!** 🎉 She has now been working at the gallery for almost a month and recently stopped by to share the good news with us.

She was absolutely beaming! Mary told us how much she enjoyed the TWTW classes and how excited she is to begin saving the money she’s earning.

We couldn't be happier for her. Mary knew what she wanted, stayed committed to her goal, and made it happen.

We are SO PROUD of our class that graduated Tuesday. With perseverance, commitment, and great attitudes, they finished our GBEAM class and are preparing to enter the workforce. Another group taking Baton Rouge by storm! 💪👨‍🎓👩‍🎓✨
