Success doesn’t always happen in a straight line.

Kassius joined The Way to Work as an active participant in our January Going Beyond class and secured employment at Subway while still in the program. Although he gained valuable work experience, he knew he wanted to continue pursuing opportunities that aligned with his long-term goals.

After a brief period of unemployment, Kassius secured a full-time position with Crescent Crown Distributors, where he works in the warehouse and assists with product deliveries. He is now earning $17 per hour, nearly $7 more per hour than his previous job.

We are proud of Kassius for staying focused, continuing his job search, and taking the next step toward a stronger future. Congratulations, Kassius! 🎉

⚠️ Parking Lot Safety Notice ⚠️

Please use extra caution when visiting HOPE Ministries and The Way to Work over the next few weeks.

A garbage truck became caught on a power line and nearly pulled down a utility pole in our parking lot. For everyone's safety, a section of the parking lot has been temporarily closed off while repairs are being completed.

🚧 Please respect all cones, caution tape, and blocked areas.
🚗 Follow posted directions and use only designated parking spaces.
⚡ Do not enter the restricted area for any reason.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as utility crews work to resolve the situation safely. The safety of our clients, volunteers, staff, and visitors is our top priority.
