🎓 Already working in a school? Your next chapter could be leading in the classroom.

After more than 20 years running a tutoring business, Johnny Moya had the experience and passion for teaching. What he didn't have was the degree and credentials to become a full-time classroom teacher.

Through Reach University's Apprenticeship Degree, offered in partnership with edwell and Hutto ISD through a Registered Teacher Apprenticeship Program, Johnny earned his bachelor's degree while building on the skills he'd developed throughout his career – with no student loan debt.

Today, he's a Reach graduate, has passed his Texas mathematics certification exam and is teaching Geometry and Algebra II at Hutto High School — the very district where he began his journey.

Your experience could be the foundation for what's next, too.

📣 Spring ‘27 admissions are now open! Explore how you can turn your job into a degree and a career in teaching.

A new pathway to upward mobility has arrived in Oregon!

The Apprenticeship College of Health (ACH) is expanding into Oregon through a partnership between Reach University, Healthcare Training Fund, and United We Heal.

Starting with behavioral health, ACH gives working adults in healthcare a way to earn a college degree while continuing to work and earn industry-recognized credentials, without taking on student loan debt.

In Oregon, candidates can work toward their CADC I credential in three semesters, then continue toward a stackable associate degree and CADC II certification, creating a clear and accelerated pathway for career advancement.

With Oregon becoming the second state after Washington to launch ACH, more working adults can build on their existing experience while preparing for what comes next.

Leading with love and a deep belief in what we can accomplish together is part of what makes Dr. Malekah Morgan such a powerful leader. Today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate her continued impact in educational leadership.

Dr. Malekah Salim-Morgan was recently recognized as a 2026 DREAM Leadership Award honoree during The Experience! For Women in Leadership, which celebrates women whose leadership, service, and influence are creating impact across their professions and communities.

This recognition feels especially meaningful given the many milestones Dr. Salim-Morgan has celebrated recently. After more than 25 years of serving students, educators, and communities, she recently completed her doctorate at Baylor University. She was also selected as a 2026–27 Deans for Impact Academy fellow, joining a national cohort of leaders working to strengthen educator preparation. Each milestone reflects the same commitment: creating stronger opportunities for educators, students, and the communities they serve.

Congratulations, Dr. Salim-Morgan, on another well-deserved recognition!

👏 Learn. Practice. Do.👏

At the Apprenticeship College of Health (ACH), those three words describe what it looks like when college learning and the workplace come together. Candidates take what they learn in seminars and put it into practice through structured workplace learning. Through the Apprenticeship Degree, they build skills while their work becomes part of their college experience.

Hear Healthcare Training Fund's Director of Behavioral Health Strategy, Melody McKee, explain how “Learn. Practice. Do.” comes to life at ACH.
