What a wonderful day at the Arts & Innovation Hub. 💛

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the ribbon cutting, open house, and community celebration. It was exciting to see so many people exploring the space, asking questions, sharing ideas, and imagining what might be possible here.

We don't have many photos to share because we were busy enjoying the moment. And honestly, that's fitting.

Today wasn't really about a building. As we shared during the ceremony, the true success of the Arts & Innovation Hub won't be measured by the space itself. It will be measured by the classes that are taught here, the ideas that are shared, the art that is created, and the connections that are made.

One of the most exciting things about the Hub is that it belongs to all of us. Its future will be shaped by the people who walk through its doors.

The Batesville Area Arts Council is honored to call the Hub home, and we're grateful to the Batesville Memorial Public Library, its staff, board, partners, and donors for bringing this vision to life.

We can't wait to see how our community makes this space its own.

Artwork from talented artists across our community is on display now at the library, and tomorrow is the perfect time to visit. Join the Batesville Memorial Public Library from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. for the Arts & Innovation Hub Ribbon Cutting, then drop in the new BAAC office and say hello.

While you're there, stop by the main building and take a look at the Community Art Show entries and get excited for a summer full of arts programming, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat coming later this month. 🌈
