🐝 Calling All Beekeepers & Videographers! 🎥

Kids Discovery Factory is looking for high-quality video footage of bees and other pollinators in action to be featured in a new interactive exhibit at our museum!

We're especially interested in clips showing:
- Bees collecting pollen and nectar
- Activity inside or around the hive
- Other pollinators interacting with flowers
- Examples of the bee waggle dance

This footage will help bring the story of pollinators to life, showing children how bees work together, support our food supply, and transform nectar into honey.

Today we traveled to Florence, KY to visit the UpSpring Summer Camp! This was KDF's first Mobile Factory visit to Kentucky! We look forward to visiting more of you in the Bluegrass State! Get in touch with us to schedule a visit for the 2026-2027 school year!

Registration Closes for good on June 15th! We have a few openings left for incoming 1st, 4th, & 6th Graders!

This is the highlight of our year, and these campers can expect 4 mornings filled with hands-on STEAM activities, visits to our Factory with 11 exhibits set-up to explore and a BREAKOUT class led by Honda Associates.

What do we do?

2025 was an historic year for Kids Discovery Factory. After serving thousands of visitors from the tri-state area, over the three years it operated, we packed up our pilot museum in June to prepare for construction.

Over the summer, we engaged student groups and corporate volunteers with 255 hours of service, and our 13th annual summer camp hosted 171 K-6th grade students.

Thanks to support from the Ripley County Community Foundation and Honda, we hosted 13 pop-up play events regionally. And in October, we officially broke ground on our future museum home.
