𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐧 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 🍩💙

Mrs. Shupe’s 5th grade class continued their celebration of 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 on May 8 by delivering donuts to the Basehor Police Department.

What an incredible group of students! Their thoughtful gesture was a sweet way to show appreciation for the officers who help keep our community safe.

We are so proud of these Bluejays for putting kindness into action and making a positive difference in Basehor. 💙💛

A big thank you to Mrs. Shupe’s 5th grade class for the special delivery of sweet treats on Basehor Kindness Day! 🍩

The donuts were delicious, and your kindness made our day even sweeter. We truly appreciate the thoughtful gesture and support from such an amazing group of students!

We are so proud of Mrs. Shupe’s 5th grade class! On April 22, these thoughtful students attended the Basehor City Council meeting to help establish May 8, 2026, as 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲.

Their efforts are a wonderful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact in our schools and community.

Way to go, Bluejays! We are incredibly proud of your leadership, compassion, and commitment to making Basehor a kinder place. 💙💛

Mrs. Shupe's Fifth Grade Class at Basehor Intermediate School joined us at the April 22nd City Council Meeting to establish May 8th, 2026 as Basehor Kindness Day.

We encourage all citizens of the City of Basehor to participate in spreading kindness and practicing respect, generosity, patience, and consideration of others always. It only takes one person to create a kindness chain reaction, how will you start one today? 🥰

We wrapped up Teacher Appreciation Week with a delicious breakfast for our amazing teachers and staff! 💙

This morning’s menu included biscuits & gravy, yogurt and granola, muffins, cinnamon rolls, bagels & cream cheese, and fresh fruit ☀️🥯🍓

A huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible Bluejay families who donated items to help make this breakfast possible. Your generosity and support helped us send our teachers and staff into the day feeling appreciated, celebrated, and well-fed! 🚀✨
