2026 State of the School District

The Basehor Chamber recently attended the State of the School District presentation and heard firsthand about the incredible things happening throughout Basehor-Linwood Schools.

From a 94.6% graduation rate and being the only district in Kansas to earn all seven Kansans Can Star Recognition awards, to expanded STEM opportunities, student wellness initiatives, and major bond-funded facility improvements, the district continues to build on a strong foundation for student success.

We were especially excited to hear about the continued partnerships between our schools and local businesses, including projects with Chamber members PCDI and First State Bank that create meaningful opportunities for students and strengthen our community.

Thank you to Superintendent Chris Vignery and the entire Basehor-Linwood team for sharing the district's vision and progress. The future is bright for our students, our schools, and our community.

Congratulations to the three students who received $500 scholarships at the Academic Awards & Scholarship Night.
