Basehor Community Volunteers A non-profit group of dedicated volunteers focused on improving our community

The mission of the BCV organization is to assure the survival of the community of Basehor, Kansas through support of local leadership, development of local resources, and general service for citizens of the community and those who might wish to settle in Basehor. Founded in 1994, we coordinate the annual 4th of July celebration, maintain the community garden site, and recognize the Yards of the Month during the summer, among other activities.

On Saturday, June 20th, the Basehor Community Volunteers hosted the 2nd Annual Basehor Garden Tour. Our visitors were in for a real treat with the gardens on tour. The feedback we had from garden visitors mentioned the diversity of the gardens, the knowledge of the gardeners, and how much they learned from each garden.

BCV appreciates the support of the community by coming out and touring each of these lovely gardens. We hope you will want to be a part of the 3rd Annual Basehor Garden Tour next year. Please contact us if you are interested in having your garden be part of the 2027 Garden Tour. We are always looking for beauty with can share.

✨Parking will be directed by Basehor Community Volunteers. Please carpool and only utilize one parking spot per car/persons.
✨Reminder: no parking is allowed on 143rd Parkway
