🐴 Hands, Horses & Healing 🐴

Join us June 16 for a special JCS Memory Café at Edward A. Myerberg Center experience designed to uplift mood, spark memories, and foster meaningful connections.

JCS Memory Cafés are warm, welcoming spaces where individuals experiencing memory changes and their care partners can come together to connect, engage in activities, and enjoy time in a supportive, relaxed setting.

This month, participants will have the unique opportunity to interact with Sonny, a gentle mini horse from Rose of Sharon Equestrian School, Inc. .

Discover how hands-on time with animals can bring comfort, joy, and connection.

Come share in this meaningful experience with us.

Today, we had the honor of coming together with Holocaust survivors and their loved ones for a special luncheon in recognition of Holocaust Survivor Day.

We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the strength, resilience, and stories of survivors, and to share time, connection, and community together. 💙

Thank you to Seed the Dream Foundation and KAVOD SHEF, whose support made this meaningful gathering possible, as well as to the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany and Maryland's Department of Aging whose grant funding also enables us to provide social services to N**i victims throughout the year.

Many older adults rely on support to remain independent, and something as simple as grocery shopping can make a meaningful difference.

JCS is seeking volunteer shoppers to help older adult clients in the Greater Baltimore area access the groceries they need. Whether you shop on their behalf or accompany them to the store, your time and care provide more than just food. You offer connection, dignity, and peace of mind.

The schedule is flexible, and the impact is immeasurable.

If you are looking for a meaningful way to give back, this is a simple yet powerful way to support someone in your community.
