What a special day at JCS Memory Café at the Edward A. Myerberg Center! We were so happy to welcome Cooper, a gentle mini pony, who spent time with individuals experiencing memory changes and their care partners.
This meaningful experience, made possible by Rose of Sharon Equestrian School, Inc. highlighted the impact of therapeutic programs designed for neurodivergent and cognitively impaired individuals through connection with horses and ponies.
Throughout the day, participants and care partners shared moments of connection, engagement, and joy. The smiles and laughter were a beautiful reminder of how experiences like these can bring comfort, spark memories, and strengthen community. 💛
JCS Memory Cafés provide a warm, welcoming space where individuals and care partners can come together, connect, and share meaningful experiences.
