Victor Aviles’ story shows what is possible when curiosity meets access and support.
After working in software sales, Victor realized he wanted a more hands-on role in technology. Through Per Scholas and the AWS re/Start program, he took a leap into cloud computing. With foundational training from Cisco Networking Academy, Victor gained practical experience, earned his AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, and landed his first tech role in under a year.

Victor didn’t stop there. As an alumnus, he continued learning through advanced courses, including ethical hacking, building deeper technical confidence and clarity about his future in cloud technology.

His journey is a reminder that career pivots are possible with the right training, community, and dedication.
