A bad forecast is no match for a great party!

While today looks a little different than we planned, YGR has always been about more than racing - it’s about our community. And we still have plenty to celebrate!

Join Us Under the Pavilion!

3:30 PM — Bar Opens and Music Starts
4 PM — Buffet Dinner from Mother’s
Before 5 PM — Community Awards & Fundraiser Recognition

We’ll celebrate some of the people who make DSC special, recognize our top fundraisers, and present the Spite Spirit Award and Kirk Culbertson Legacy Award.

Please grab your dinner ticket, bring family and friends, enjoy some great food and drinks, and help us pack the pavilion.

TOMORROW! ❤️⛵

Tomorrow we race. But today, you can help us reach the starting line strong.

Ya Gotta Regatta is more than our biggest celebration of the year. The funds we raise help keep the DSC running - supporting accessible and community programs, youth opportunities, affordable sailing, our fleet, and the waterfront that makes it all possible.

$10. $25. $100. Whatever feels right. Every single gift moves us forward.

👉 Make your YGR gift today: https://givebutter.com/ygr26

Then share this post and invite someone else to join you.

Every dollar. Every share. Every sailor. It all adds up.

Tomorrow, we celebrate what this community makes possible. 💙

The racing may happen on the water, but the whole community gets to celebrate.

Join us Saturday after the boats come in for the Ya Gotta Regatta Afterparty - dinner from Mother’s Grille, awards, a cash bar, and plenty of sailors, volunteers, members, families, and friends celebrating together.

You don't have to race to come to the party. Everyone is welcome.

Thanks to our incredible community, we’ve already raised 62% of our $200,000 goal. That’s tremendous momentum, but we have $75,000 to go, and 5 days until YGR.

We don’t need one person to close that gap. We need everyone to chip in.

Whether it’s $10, $25, $100, or more, your gift makes a difference. If you can’t give today, sharing the campaign with someone who might is another powerful way to help.

ONE WEEK!

An event this big takes a crew - and not just the kind that knows how to sail.

Nearly 80 volunteers help make Ya Gotta Regatta happen, with opportunities ranging from a quick afterparty shift to a full day on the water with Race Committee. Many roles require absolutely no sailing experience.

Have an hour? Have a whole day? We can use you.

MATCHING FUNDS ARE STILL AVAILABLE - BUT NOT FOR LONG!

There’s still time to make your Ya Gotta Regatta gift go TWICE as far! While matching funds remain, every donation is DOUBLED - doubling your impact on accessible sailing, youth programs, community partnerships, and opportunities to get more people out on the water.

But the match is going fast, so don’t wait!

Donate now. Double your gift. Double your impact.

Your Gift Goes Twice as Far!

We’re excited to announce a special $5,000 Ya Gotta Regatta Matching Challenge!

Thanks to the generosity of a longtime DSC member and dedicated Access-Ability volunteer, EVERY GIFT made during the matching period will be matched dollar for dollar - up to $5,000.

This challenge comes from someone who has spent years giving their time to the DSC and helping create opportunities for others on the water. Now, they’re inviting our entire community to join them and double the difference we can make together.

Your gift to Ya Gotta Regatta supports the whole DSC - helping keep our boats sailing, programs accessible, and opportunities on the water available to more people throughout Baltimore.

$10 becomes $20. $50 becomes $100. $100 becomes $200.

Every gift, large or small, goes twice as far while matching funds are available.

Double your gift. Double your impact. Help us unlock the full $5,000 match!
