There was great spirit in the room at St. Gerard Majella Parish this past weekend.

57 couples gathered for the launch of the Celebrate Catholic Marriage Experience (CCME)! From the moment the evening began, the room was filled with energy, laughter, prayer, and conversation.

Couples shared stories.
New friendships were formed.
Faith was strengthened.
And throughout the evening, there was a genuine spirit of hope and encouragement.

Strong marriages don't happen by accident. They grow when couples intentionally make time for one another—
and that's exactly what happened here.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this inaugural gathering. We are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside these couples as they continue investing in their marriages and growing together in faith.

Mary didn’t keep the joy of Christ to herself.

At the Visitation, she went in haste to be with Elizabeth—
bringing encouragement, presence, and the hope of Jesus with her.

The Feast of the Visitation reminds us that faith is meant to be shared.

Today we celebrate the feast day of St. Pope Paul VI—
a saint who saw the power of media to share the Gospel long before social media even existed.

In 1963, he helped introduce 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢, a Church document encouraging the “effective use” of media and social communication for evangelization and spreading the truth of Christ to the world. Just a few years later, he also established World Communications Day — recognizing the powerful role media could play in reaching souls.

More than 60 years later, that call still matters.

At Mater Media, we’re honored to continue that mission by using media to make Jesus Christ more known and more loved by more people.

The Feast of Pentecost reminds us that the Church was born not in comfort—but in mission.

Gathered together with Mary, the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and sent out to share the message of Jesus Christ with the world.

And that mission continues today.

We believe that God still moves through ordinary people in extraordinary ways, and we pray that the Holy Spirit continues to guide Mater Media in sharing Christ with a world searching for hope, truth, and joy.
