We’re just a few weeks out from this exciting event! Can’t wait to see everyone there - kicking off the start of summer

GBCC member Baldwinsville Kiwanis Club is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and invites the community to join in the celebration at a free Kids Community Event on Saturday, June 27. Families can enjoy live entertainment, games, activities, hot dogs, ice cream, temporary tattoos, chalk art, and more.

This special event is part of the club's Centennial Celebration, honoring a century of service to Baldwinsville's children and families. We hope you'll help us spread the word and encourage local families to attend this fun-filled community celebration.

If you've been following us for a bit, you might have noticed we've stepped up our social media game - and we have, with some help.

Behind the scenes we partnered with students of Syracuse University's Newhouse PRL425 class this semester. This small group of graduate students have worked alongside us to develop and execute a public relations campaign celebrating our 100th anniversary. From building the "100 Acts of Kindness" campaign, and creating a visual timeline of our history, to developing social media content - like the Throwback Thursdays - their work helped bring our centennial story to life in a meaningful way.

To Emily, Caroline, Phoenyx, Andrea-Rose, and Katelyn - thank you for your creativity, dedication, patience, and passion for community. We're proud to have been part of this experience in your senior year and wish you the best of luck at commencement this weekend and in the future.

- Welcome to B'ville — and we mean it. 💛 TBT to Kiwanis teaming up with the Chamber of Commerce and local service groups to put up six welcome signs at the entrances to our village. George Rowland and Bernie Lockwood proudly turned them over to Mayor Thomas Doris. Small town, big heart.
