Volunteer Opportunities!!!
Hi All!
Happy June! Here is what is going on this month:

Beaver Tales Mailing: Wednesday, June 3rd, 10a-12p. Help us get our quarterly newsletter ready for mailing! Coffee and tea provided.

Native Plant Sale, Volunteer Open House & Book Sale: Saturday, June 6th. 9a-1p. Help us with set up, cashing out customers or answering questions about being a Beaver Lake Volunteer!

Seneca River Days Offsite Event: Saturday, June 13. 11a-4p. We need 2-3 more people to cover a 2.5-3 hour shift at our table at Seneca River Days on Papermill Island. Chat with visitors and hand out activities to keep the kids busy!

Concession Stand: Open for the season on June 19th! 11a-3p, weather permitting. Come in and serve up hot dogs and other snacks to our visitors Friday-Sunday every weekend through Labor day! Please reach out to reserve your date or for more info!

Father's Day Strawberry Shortcake: June 21st, 11a-3p. Join us in the concession stand to serve up homemade strawberry shortcakes to celebrate Dads!

Wood Cookies and Gardening: These tasks can be done on your own time with a little bit of notice. Reach out for more info and we can schedule a time for you to come in!

Stewardship Wednesday's: Every Wednesday throughout the summer, 8a-9a. Join a naturalist to remove invasive species throughout the park!

Volunteer Opportunity!!!
On June 27 the Baldwinsville Lions will be hosting the 2nd annual Strides for Sight 5k Run/Walk to benefit Aurora of CNY at Onondaga Lake Park, Willow Bay, Sawmill Creek shelter. Within the shelter we will have a Family Fun Zone set up with carnival style games and activities. They could use about 6 - 8 volunteers to operate and monitor the games. Volunteers should be on the site by 9:00am to help set up and get trained. If you want to volunteer, please email [email protected] for more information! The Baldwinsville Lions Club
