💚 A Gift of Life. A Bond Like No Other - Sisters!

💚 Living donation saves lives. It creates a legacy of love that lasts forever.

💚 Thank you to this incredible donor for sharing her story and inspiring others to learn more about the life-changing impact of living organ donation.

"I donated my kidney to my little sister this year. This would be her third transplant and her second kidney transplant. When I heard the news about her needing another transplant, I was absolutely heartbroken. I then made the choice to apply as a living donor for her. After many tests and many months later, I was finally approved by the Jackson Memorial Transplant Center in Miami, Florida. Her previous surgeries were performed there, so I knew I was in great hands. I wasn’t nervous at all (for myself) leading up to the big day. I was so happy and grateful that I was healthy enough to be approved. It’s been four months since the surgery, and I feel great. I wish I had 30 more kidneys to donate. I would do this all over again in a heartbeat. My sister is thriving, still slowly recovering. Her doctors are hopeful about her future, and she is getting stronger day by day. I want people to know that being a living organ donor has changed my life, in the most positive way, of course." – Tiffany (left in photo).
