The natural disaster occurring in Nepal this week will continue to unfold over the next several days, weeks, and even months. The areas affected include communities we have engaged with for almost 2 decades. While we are relieved that all of our team members are accounted for and safe, we do not yet have the same assurance for many of the children and families we serve.
Right now, we need your help to organize a trauma camp for evacuated children. Funds will provide hands-on relief including additional team members deployed to the area, volunteer support, food, and critical supplies for those affected. $ 2000.00 will allow us to serve hundreds of children affected by this disaster… children separated from their families, children who need immediate assistance with basic needs and trauma support. The more support we receive, the more children and families we can help.
