Thank you Kathy Coffel for donating a hundred and fifty pounds of fresh dug potatoes. We were able to give away every one last Thursday to our community. Pretty awesome

Thank you Hidden Treasures of Pine River for donating a couple hundred pounds of potatoes. They are going in my version of Dolly Partons Chicken stuffing casserole. I can’t wait to try it.

The Pine River Chamber of Commerce through the W**e, B**r, & Spirits Tasting Fundraiser donated $1,200 to Room at our Table led by Brian Chaffee and his team of volunteers!

We had our first hot meal on September 17. I planned on a nice soft opening with extra volunteers to make sure we were prepared. We served 352 Denver omelets with biscuits and gravy along with fresh orange wedges. The entire meal was donated to Room at our Table by an anonymous donor. Nazarene church members, Lakes Area Rotary , Naveh , Deb, Maxine and Cindy were part of the team. We delivered 65 meals to Pine River and served the rest out of Backus. Pretty good start. To all the donors that participated in making this happen, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Next Thursday I am making Pasta. I will post better pictures next week.
