Don’t put the garden to bed just yet!

Fall is a perfect time to grow cool-season crops like lettuce, kale, radishes, and spinach. Cooler temperatures can mean sweeter, more tender greens, and fewer summer pests to battle.

A fall garden can extend your harvest, make the most of your growing space, and keep fresh produce on your plate well into the season. 🌱

There’s still plenty growing when summer starts to fade!

Just like that, the Summer Bingo Scavenger Hunt has come to a close. We love getting to share summer adventures with participants, from exploring new nature spots to playing in the water - it was a TON of fun! Congrats to all our winners! The grand prize winner, LeAnn P. chose the Northland Arboretum as the recipient of a $50 donation made in her honor! We hope to see you all for the Fall Bingo Scavenger Hunt starting on October 1st. 🎃

🌲🏕️ Thinking about trying camping but not sure where to start? Car camping might be the perfect first adventure! 🚗⛺
Whether you choose a tent, a cozy cabin, or even a yurt, camping doesn't have to be complicated. Start small, bring a few comforts from home, and focus on what matters most: slowing down, unplugging, and spending time outdoors. 🌲✨ Check out Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for more ideas.
