Excellent job to our band and instrumental students! We are so proud of the progress you have made this school year. All students enjoyed an afternoon concert today put on by our third-fifth graders led by our very skilled instrumental teacher, Mrs. Yencer. Mrs. Cole was also an excellent guest player and helpful music teacher in the student band as well. Thank you to all for sharing your talents with us! !

On Friday I had the pleasure of welcoming a very special guest to the Village Hall — Mayor for the Day, Elias!

Elias, a student at St. Agnes school, did a wonderful job leading our staff meeting, inspecting our fire department equipment, and checking out our police cruisers. Most importantly, he brought great energy, curiosity, and smiles to everyone he met!

Thank you, Elias, for spending the day with us and reminding us what community is all about. It was truly a great day for the Village of Avon!
