May 19: A special meeting was held at Partyman Catering, where our club had the privilege of presenting our 2026 Building Award to owner Joe Yantachka in recognition of his outstanding investment in the Avon community.
Joe and his outstanding team welcomed us with a delicious meal that went far beyond our expectations. Following dinner, Joe shared the history of the company, offering insight into the growth and evolution of the business through the years. Members also enjoyed a tour of the impressive facility, gaining a greater appreciation for the scale of operations and the dedication behind the success of Partyman Catering.
The inscription on the award reads:
“In recognition of your investment in the Avon Community and for helping drive our continued growth and success, 2026.”
Those who know Joe understand that while the business has grown tremendously, he remains humble, generous, and deeply committed to serving others. As a fellow Rotarian and community-minded businessman, Joe consistently demonstrates the spirit of Service Above Self through his support of countless local efforts.
Our club is especially grateful for Joe’s continued generosity to Avon Rotary and the Avon Rotary Corn Festival, where his support has helped strengthen one of our community’s signature events year after year.
Congratulations to Joe Yantachka and Partyman Catering on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for all you do for Avon and beyond.

Shoutout to Rotarians Jean Antkowiak, Collin Hayes, Nick Westfall, and Helen Zamboni, who volunteered today for Martha’s Kitchen, a wonderful service project of the Zion Church Avon.

The team served a delicious and nutritious lunch to over 15 community members, featuring chicken barbecue, mac n cheese, salad and some sweet desserts and refreshments.

A special thank you to the Village of Avon, for hosting the lunch today while the Zion Church works on repairing its basement.

Our Club looks forward to volunteering at Martha’s Kitchen again in July and September!

🎉 Happy 99th Birthday to the Avon Rotary Club! 🎉

For 99 years, Avon Rotary has proudly lived the motto of “Service Above Self” — supporting our community, lending a hand where it’s needed most, building lasting friendships, and making an impact far beyond Avon.

From service projects and scholarships to community events, youth programs, international outreach, and countless acts of kindness, generations of Rotarians have helped shape a stronger, more caring community.

Today we celebrate the members, volunteers, supporters, and partners — past and present — who have made these 99 years possible. Thank you for your dedication, generosity, and heart for service.

Here’s to honoring our rich history while looking ahead to an exciting future of continued service and impact.

💙💛 Happy 99th Anniversary, Avon Rotary! 💛💙
