Come join the fun at our Fall Meeting at the Marion Memorial American Legion, 4141 Witherden Rd., Marion, NY 14505, on Sunday, October 4, at 1:00 PM! 🎉

We have an exciting day planned:
✨ Annual election of officers
🎨 Fun craft activity
🍿 Snacks

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about our programs, leadership, and ways to support our veterans and military, while making new friends and connecting with Juniors from across our district!

It was a full weekend that started with a 9/11 Ceremony with St Agnes at the circle and included special speakers and refreshments served by the students for veterans and first responders. Then it was a day of service cleaning up around the post, pulling weeds and included displaying our Field of Flags to honor our Veterans. Thank you to our member volunteers for your gift of time.

Our 🇺🇸 🫡 Flags of Honor 🫡 🇺🇸 are displayed in our Field of Flags this patriotic holiday weekend 🇺🇸. Happy 250th Birthday, America! Stop by and read each tag. We thank each veteran for their service to our country.

News10NBC honors Air Force Staff Sgt. Alexandria Morrow of Dansville. She died March 22nd, 2017 while serving in Jordan. She was 25 years old.

Jackie Williams heard about The American Legion’s USA 250 Challenge last November while attending American Legion Auxiliary Mission Training in Albany, N.Y. Attendees of the training were asked to choose one of the three challenge categories — fitness, mental wellness, and community service — to log 250 miles or hours. Williams wrote her challenge on a sticky note. “I was very excited to become a part of this challenge and chose Buddy Checks to thank a veteran for their service,” said Williams, a member of Auxiliary Unit 746 in Corning, N.Y. 🇺🇸
