(After much consideration, we are taking a year off of our big Halloween drop-in event to focus on future happenings. It’s a bummer but we feel good about the decision)

But, per our students’ request, we’re still going to have Halloween food & fun during afterschool, on Wednesday, October 28 from 4-6pm ☠️🎊

🏠ᴼᴿ🏚️ We started our journey through Proverbs with the “𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦” - the 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚💡 of Proverbs, found in chapter 1

🪟 Here’s a window into the ways we processed this principle:
𖠿 we made two-sided bookmarks for our Proverbs books - one side depicting a house with a crumbling foundation & one showing a house built on a solid foundation 🏘️
𖠿 we watched Mr. Jordan give a demonstration on the 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 as our foundation using Jenga blocks 🧱
𖠿 we sang 🎶 The Wise Man Built His House Upon the Rock 🎶 a few too many times 😅 while cross referencing the parable of the Wise & Foolish Builders found in Matthew 7

Our high school student was truly enthralled by Petits Morceaux’s layered mixed media pieces on display in our space.
