April 21-25 Performance Club: Jack Isaac Pryor
Five Ways to Save Yourself from Drowning
Dates: June 16-20, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Description: Every night for five consecutive nights, Jack will share an original performance created in the studio that day. Part autofiction, part instruction manual, 5 ways to save yourself from drowning is Jack's newest work-in-progress about illness, catastrophe, and heartbreak--and what it means to survive. The fifth night (summer solstice), Jack will be joined by dancer Beverly Bajema.
Bio: Jack Isaac Pryor (they/them) is a writer, theater artist, and performance studies scholar specializing in experimental forms; q***r, trans, and feminist theories and methods; and the politics of time. They lived in Austin from 2002-2010, where they were the creator/director of the award-winning, community-based projects BREAD (2005); pink: a love courier service (2006-2009); and floodlines (2004-2010). They received their PhD from the University of Texas and are currently based in Lenapehoking. More at jaclynisaacpryor.com.
