A message from Kellie Newman, our Executive Director 🕊️🤍

"We first met Ms. Deborah at the Dream Center. She walked through our doors as a client, but she quickly became one of my dearest, fastest friends. She was 30 years my senior, and on paper, some might say we were an unlikely pair—but her dry humor always left me in stitches, and her deep wisdom anchored me. I truly lived for our conversations.

Ms. Deborah became a pillar of the Dream Center family. She grew with us in our women’s bible study, started attending the South Campus two years ago, and most Sunday nights, you could find her right there with us at the Sunday Night Experience.

The hallways already feel a little quieter without her. She is deeply, profoundly missed, but we find so much peace knowing this isn’t the end. We love you, Ms. Deborah, and we are counting down the days until our reunion in heaven."

One year later, and the wheels are still turning 🚙💨✨

This time last year, we added a third truck to the ADC fleet, and it has been a total game-changer for our outreach. From neighboring communities to the heart of the CSRA, this truck has allowed us to deliver thousands of pounds of food and clothing directly to the families who need it most.

To the donors who fueled this leap forward: Look what you did! You didn’t just buy a vehicle; you created a pathway for stability and growth in our city. Thank you for keeping our mission in motion!

Big news for our Food Pantry 🙏

We are incredibly honored to announce that the Augusta Dream Center has been awarded a $7,200 grant from the Popeyes Foundation!

This generous funding is going directly toward purchasing essential food items for our shelves, helping us ensure that no child or family in our community goes hungry this season. Partnerships like this allow us to keep doing what we do best—showing up for the CSRA with excellence!

In observance of Memorial Day, the Augusta Dream Center will be CLOSED this Sunday and Monday for our Sunday Night Experience and our Monday office hours.

We will resume our regular schedule and be ready to serve you on Tuesday morning at 10 AM! We hope y’all have a safe and restful weekend with your families ❤️🤍💙

Look what we’ve done together so far 🛒✨

Our Stock the Shelves campaign is in full swing, and we are blown away by how the community is showing up for our Food Pantry. Check out the impact you’ve made so far:

💰 Monetary donations raised: $954.69
📦 Amazon Wishlist purchases: $1,131.77

Every dollar and every box of kid-friendly meals shipped directly to our doors means a local child won't have to worry about missing lunch this summer. We still have a way to go to completely fill the shelves, but this is an incredible start!
