We are overflowing with gratitude for Hanes! Thanks to their incredible generosity, we are officially stocked with 1,000 pairs of socks and 200 pairs of children’s underwear.

Got gently used clothes or shoes taking up space? We'll take 'em 👟📦

Right now, we are only in need of:
• Children’s clothing
• Men’s clothing
• New/gently used shoes for Men & Children

Drop your donations off in bags with us this week to help us serve local families free of charge. Our bins can not accommodate boxes!
• Bin outside Stevens Creek Church – Augusta Campus (600 Stevens Creek Rd, Augusta, GA 30907)
• Bin outside Stevens Creek Church – Grovetown Campus (5050 High Meadows Dr, Grovetown, GA 30813)
• In-person deliveries are also accepted during Dream Center office hours: Mondays - Wednesdays from 9am-4pm, Thursdays from 9am-6pm, and Sundays from 3-6pm

We need your help!

Our Sunday Night Experience is one of the most impactful hours of our week, but to make it happen, we need hands to help build it. Right now, we are in critical need of volunteers to serve our guests on Sunday nights!

You don't need any special training—just a heart ready to love our neighbors without judgment. Volunteers as young as 10 years old are also welcome with a parent or guardian!

How to get involved 📲 Sign up ahead of time at AugustaDreamCenter.org/get-involved OR simply show up at 3:00 PM this Sunday ready to help.

Did somebody say snacks?! 👀

When school lets out for the summer, many of our local kids lose access to daily school meals. We believe no child should have to worry about where their next breakfast or lunch is coming from—and that’s exactly why our Stock the Shelves campaign is in full swing!

We are on a mission to flood our Food Pantry with kid-friendly meals, and we need your help to make it happen.

✨ 3 easy ways to protect a local kid this summer:
1️⃣ Shop our Amazon Wishlist (items ship straight to our doors!)
2️⃣ Donate online, and the Dream Team will do the grocery shopping for you
3️⃣ Host a mini food drive with your coworkers, church, or neighborhood

And that is a wrap on Volunteer Appreciation Week ⭐️

What a beautiful week it has been celebrating the heartbeat of the Augusta Dream Center—our unmatched Dream Team!

We couldn’t think of a better way to close out the week than by shouting out our incredible Adopt-a-Block volunteers who showed up and showed out for First Saturday yesterday! This crew hits the pavement month after month, taking hope, resources, and a whole lot of hope straight to the doorsteps of our neighborhood blocks. You all made this weekend so incredibly special, and we are so high on gratitude for your consistency and heart.

To every single volunteer who sorts clothes, stocks pantry shelves, serves dinner, cleans up, or greets our guests with a smile: Thank you. You are the reason this community keeps soaring, and we love you more than words can say ☁️

The Augusta Dream Center wouldn't fly without the hands that build it every single day 🕊 Our volunteers are the actual heartbeat of everything we do. In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Week, we want to share a few more of the incredible faces and inspiring stories behind our world-class Dream Team…

⭐️ Meet Maliyah! She has been volunteering for 4 years and is another incredible leader on our Sunday Night Dinner team. What keeps her inspired? Maliyah says: "I recognize how blessed I've been to never go hungry. Giving back is my way of expressing gratitude. The experience helps me stay grounded and strengthens my compassion for life."

⭐️ Meet Deborah! She has been volunteering with us since the fall of 2021 and is the phenomenal leader of our Sunday Night Dinner team. When asked why serving is close to her heart, Deborah shared: "Serving at the DC is important to me because when I was younger, my family needed similar resources, so I am paying it forward. I also believe that we should be the hands and feet of Jesus."

⭐️ Meet Bailey! He has served faithfully on our Thursday night team for a year and a half, always willing to do whatever is necessary. Bailey shared: "It’s truly the least I can do. I’ve lived here for seven years, and in those first few years I wasn’t very involved. Over time, I realized how important it is to serve the people around me and support my neighbors."

⭐️ Meet Kim! (Alongside fellow medical team member Fran!) Kim serves as our wonderful medical team coordinator and has been a vital part of the team since 2020. Her ADC journey started when she volunteered for Cinderella Day—she fell so in love with the mission that she never left! Now, she uses her skills to lead our medical services with excellence and compassion.

Big shoutout to our First Saturday volunteers! For our final day of Volunteer Appreciation Week, we brought in the snow cones to keep the vibes high and the temperature low.

Whether they were packing groceries, sorting clothes, or greeting families with a smile, this team went above and beyond today. Thank you for spending your Saturday morning fueling hope in our community!
