As we celebrate the completion of our first year serving First Responders in need, Valor Station, Inc. is wrapping up year one on several high notes, despite navigating the high's and low's typically endured by start-up facilities in the first 12-18 months. In the last year, we have assisted First Responders from six states with a 99% program completion rate. The average reduction of trauma symptoms was 50% among all clients. This was measured with various validated trauma scales. This is outstanding and lands at the top end of what expectations would be for a 28-day, intensive outpatient program. This takes monumental effort on the part of the clients and our therapists. Our census is currently near full capacity. The support received from local, state and federal government officials, especially over the last few months, has been outstanding. We'd like to thank Ralph Squillace, Ramone Lamkin, Richmond County Marshal, Mayor Gary Jones, Mayor Garnett Johnson, Mason McKnight, Chief Joseph Lumpkin, Sheriff James Hale, Stephanie Stallings, Sheriff Gino Brantley, Chief Jamey Kitchens, GBI SAC Sara Lue, GBI SAC Wes Horne, Dr. Brian Moore, and Chief Antonio Burden. Because of their efforts, and the efforts of others, Valor Station is bound to grow beyond Augusta, Georgia. Next week, we are excited to partner with Empire Entertainment & Travel and The Giving Back Fund the first day of this year's tournament. They have both selected Valor Station, Inc. to be the non-profit donor recipient for this year's event. We are honored. We will also be honoring 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus at the event for all of his philanthropic efforts throughout his long career. Thank you to all who've supported us this first year and to those who are ensuring the continued success and future growth!
